Não se trata só de uma banda de rock progressivo. É um pensamento, um modo de ver o mundo de forma mais realística. Comecei a ouvir Pink Floyd ainda bem jovem. Hoje estou velho, doente, então passo os dias deitado, ouvindo a melhor música do mundo:rock! Especialmente Pink Floyd. Então vejo toda minha vida passando lentamente sob as notas dessa banda que amo.

Pois somos 2 irmão ! Conheci com meus 10 anos de idade, fita k7 ouvia noites e noites dormindo no quintal contemplando as estrelas ão som desta banda única e hoje nos meus quase 50 ainda me delito aos solos de guitarra. Não existe igual a Pink Floyd....

37 Jahre begleitet mich diese Band nun schon durch mein Leben. 💚 1992 live in München gesehen. Danke für diese Kunst!
At my first concert, I was a high school sophomore (I grad in '77), and my date didn't even know who Pink Floyd was. My dad drove us and picked us up. When I got home, my mom was watching the news, reporting over 900 arrests at the concert at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, mostly drug related. At the mid-concert break (no warm up bands, just The Pink,) the lights were turned on and it looked like LA smog in a heat wave, there was so much smoke in the air (can anybody say contact high? lol). I'm only 15 at this time, but listening to Pink for a couple years, mostly pre-DSOTM - Syd was AWESOME. I had an artist friend teaching me how to paint, and PF was the music we listened to while creating. At the concert, they played a song called "Babbling and Bleating", later changed to "Raving and Drooling" that had me buying the "Wish You Were Here" album. NOT ON IT! It came out on the Animals album, in 1977, as "Sheep". What contemporary band or musician is able to plan their music so many years in advance? Pink Floyd was a musical phenomenon, and there will never be anyone like them.
Eu ouvi Pink Floyd pela primeira vez aos 12 anos e de lá pra cá nunca mais parei. Foi o Nick Mason quem me inspirou a ser baterista e foi o David Gilmour quem me inspirou a ser guitarrista. Hoje eu sou fabricante de instrumentos musicais.

sowas,& ELOY, Supertramp, Black Sabat, Genesis und. , letztendlich meinen grund Charakter geformt. Dummerweise,, darf man meist mit zurecht Gepolten , im Leben klar kommen. Ist im Grunde auch nicht falsch. Man besitzt halt eine andere Grundwarnehmung.😅

Sinto que saio fora de mim.Ouço desde 14 anos.Meu namorado tem 41.Eu 57.Nos dois viajamos.
Does anyone ever feel Anemoia listening to this? Or is it just me? Why does this take me back to a time I really miss but never had the chance to live in? The band photos in black & white, the buildings and the far away cars in the horizon in High Hopes video clip? Ever wondered who that man leaning on the car is? Did you try googling him? Wondered where he is now? How does he look like today? Many questions and many more feelings while listening to their songs, I was born in 88 but I feel connected to Pink Floyd more than any other artist or musician, I even go back in time and wonder: Division Bell was released in 94, what was I doing back then? What did my father look like? My mother.. certainly younger and more energetic.. trying to figure out how to raise us, how to provide for us, we had no worries, we thought that's it.. life will always be like this but all of a sudden all is gone. You're a grown man, you don't know how you got here.. you moved away, your parents grew old, they need you, you always think how can I handle life when they're gone? I can go on and on...Crazy how such a song or a tune can unlock all of these feelings!

that and smoking some great pot always helps. A friend turned me on to Dark side of the moon right when it firat came out and ive been hooked ever since. After too many trips and all nighters my friends never wanted me to be the music monitor (person who would get off the couch and decide what was going to be listened to and got the album out and put it on the turn table) stating "we dont want to hear Pink Floyd again"!! Too bad, my apartment, my records, Pink Floyd it is!!

Ok, wann man Pink hört, landet man auch schnell bei anderen genialen Gruppen. Klar, nicht immer so perfekt. Aber auch Ausdruck, was zu Sagen & sind auch eher Geschichten.
Aos meus 65 anos de idade ainda curto muito esse grupo....Está pra surgir musicas iguais só no próximo século........

Nos anos 80 comecei a reconhecer minhas melhores experiências onde experimentei o viciante e realista ideologia do Rock e a melhor banda no meu simples entender que jovens cutimos muito pois deixamos exemplos de curtir o que liberta nossa emoção e realidade de vida ,hoje já um jovem senhor de quase 60 vejo minha história escrita nas canções de Bandas de Rock e a principal Pink Floyd! Gilmour e Waters sensacionais

Oh, yes, that's for sure. It seems as though the world was a far more reasonable place to be. Not only music-wise. Politics was hard rock as well. Take Ronald Regan or Margarette Thatcher - thugs like today didn't dare to raise their rotten voices, let alone starting a bloody war in the middle of Europe.

The youth of today don't need our pity. Today, we all (across generations) have much easier access to much more music than ever before in history. And every older generation thinks the new music is not nearly as good as what they listened to growing up. You forget that most of the songs that all those one- and two-hit wonders produced did not become hits and got little to no radio play. We have special feelings for the songs that bring back old memories -- whether specific or fuzzy -- but every generation has amazing musical talents, and they are influenced by previous generations. The genres are constantly evolving, yet old and new music can be preserved now better than ever.

Como conhecedor de toda a discografia do Pink Floyd, posso dizer que a seleção ficou excelente. E digo mais: todas as músicas, sem exceção, da banda são incríveis, porque, o Pink Floyd transcende o conceito de música e adentra conceito de obra de arte.

Comecei a gostar do pink em 82 meu irmão comprou disco duplo The wall, ouvia ele escutando e comecei a gostar das músicas também Pink Floyd estava muito a frente da sua época pelas músicas que tocavam. Já não temos mais bandas como eles atualmente, então temos q continua r escutando eles.,
