I’m so glad you did a review on her! She has gotten so much criticism online...especially her face sculpt. But I just LOVE her. I do agree with the points you made (the hair tie, shoes etc) but overall, she’s awesome IMO!! 🥰

Thank’s for the review....Her loveliness found a way to push through all the corner’s Mattel cut. I love the dress , hairstyle & earrings.

The blonde hair looks great! I was not expecting the review of this doll to be so positive, but good that Barbie is still making quality dolls from time to time. Still, I can't stop looking at the Poppy Parkers and Adele in the background.

I. Love. This. Doll! I know you're not a fan of that elastic band on her head, but she reminds me of Mattel's first Holiday Barbie. That huge pink gown with silver accents and of course the traditional Barbie hairdo lol. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️

Aaand I paid 151,09 dollars ( 125 euros ) because I live in Europe. Eeeevery single video about this doll is complaining about the 100 dollar price. 😁 Greetings from Finland. 😀 ( And she was on sale even. 159 euros normally.)

this barbie reminds me of a barbie in a video game. the game was called fashion model barbie and the main menu of the game had her in a dress similar to this. the top part was different but everything else about this dress including her hair is literally spot on. it makes me wonder if they too inspiration from that illustration from the game.

Hello from another blonde hair fan (see my avatar!) I'm just not so sure the combination of the Silkstone weight for the body , Model Muse pose with the play line face mold. The packaging is really nice and looks good quality and putting her back in the box is a good idea.

I am glad for the review .. I didnt get her because I wasnt sure .. Now I might get her ..I love the packaging and the dress. Do not like the plastic tabs in her head.. So I might pick her up as a platinum member she is worth it.

I love that you're back! Your blonde hair is cute. Very Malibu. I don't love this doll. I think the design is good, but the execution feels like a series of cost-saving compromises. I would want to take that dress apart and put it back together with a lining and Integrity-style hook closures. The shoes don't do it for me either, and no purse? But the biggest problem for me is that the doll's right eye isn't positioned correctly on the sculpt, and the left arm not touching the hip. The eye thing is a manufacturing defect to me, and the arm thing is a tooling defect. They should have corrected that in the prototyping phase. I also wish this Collector Millie face sculpt had more crisply incised features, overall this sculpt just feels a bit 'melted' to me, if that makes sense. The lips, nostrils and ears should be more sharply defined, and I prefer sculpts that have some incised lines around the eyes. I would love to see a high-end take on some of the Playline faces, but this doesn't feel like that to me. Great video as always, welcome back!

Glad that you're back! I really love the presentation of this doll. The box is everything! The gowns looks good, but yes, once you go integrity, it's very difficult to come back. I can hear the disappointment in your voice while discussing the different details. :(

I might take the ribbon that was holding her waist and make it a bow for her hair? I feel like the rubber and is gonna kill me…I already ordered her…I almost fainted when I saw plastic snaps…

this doll is extremely beautiful i just wish it was around $50 or something. even though i get that she has the silkstone body i don’t know if $100 is the appropriate range of price.. i already feel so much pain from the $60 anniversary doll with white sparkly dress.. i almost bought her but i don’t like her too much and this doll is really much better than her but $100 is a bit too high for me.. maybe i’ll stick with the play lines 😅

Although our design aesthetics are wildly different I have to say your reviews are intelligent, and most importantly entertaining. This doll is disappointing on so many levels...the Millie face, cheapie shoes and pink elastic for starters... give me "Pretty Reckless" Rayna any day. Oh how I long for the BFMC golden years...

I generally agree with your opinion of this Barbie, but Integrity dolls cost at least 50% more, have a different look (i.e. some people would much prefer this outfit to Rayna’s), and are not always available (I, like many, could not purchase Rayna at MSRP). So, add that all up, and this doll fills a certain niche. However, for my tastes, I hope they use different face molds and skin and hair colours in the future.

@@timothyrogers5810 Well, it's still early in the year, and some of the open edition dolls look really good. I'm optimistic I will be able to get at least a few IT dolls I want this year.

She is not worth the price, very poor quality work in my opinion. When I got her out of the package her earring fall apart. She reminds me of a cheap play line doll such as, fashionistas as, you pointed out. The only thing I like is her dress.

I just don’t like silkstone, I have said that before! Why can’t the pricing be for this doll put into something more like the YSL doll, vinyl but beautiful fabrics and make up! But love your videos, she’s pretty but not loving silkstone!
