So sorry for your loss. I lost my mother more than 20 years ago, but I still feel it.

She has the range to hit all the notes perfectly, and so much more - heart, passion, soul, that brings it to life, makes it her own. Tough song to cover, she nailed it and then some.

Jesus Christ, I instantly got tears in my eyes when she started singing, can't believe how good she is.

Becuase pink floyed is integral to the foundations of western thought. Or something like that. Plato, locke, and pink floyed, the holy western trinity. I like pink floyed as mush as the next guy but I feel like you're being just a tad hyperbolic there.

I am a 300 pound rough and ugly biker and want you to know this performance brought a tear to my cheek. I have loved this song for many years and also want you to know you really did it justice. Her voice has a nice depth and clarity -- unlike most professional singers I've heard try this, who just sound strained and raspy and I can't even listen to it. This is very smooth and beautiful. She has a great voice! And so young. I'm sure she has a bright future in singing.

THIS GIRL HAS A PURE ROCK KICKASS SOUL. AWESOME.

This song is cursed. Absolutely mastered by Clare Torry in like 2 takes on Pink Floyd's classic album "The Dark Side of the Moon". This is one of the best vocal covers I've heard of this song, and it takes serious guts to even attempt it. INCREDIBLE JOB GUYS!!!

She sang all afternoon. Then they asked her to open up, let loose, and she thought she already had. Anyway, we got this. Fun Fact: After all these years she's still pissed off that she was paid as a session muso, and didn't receive any royalties. She tried suing, but got nothing.

I never make comment on KZread but have been a fan of the Floyd for over 45 years (am 58years young) and play a bit of piano. This performance is truly remarkable - Great Gig in the Sky is a seminal piece of music and nothingness off a seminal album. Clare Torry, Roger, Richard, Nick and the Flioyd crew would have to be speechless by this performance. Amazing talent guys and what a voice - NEVER give it up, love it, nurture it and live music forever - old school, new school, opera, death metal, country, rap, muliticultural - all of it Highwood School of Rock you are amazing - from aApua New Guinea

Anyone commenting here know how difficult it is to play slide if you have never played it before? Let me answer for you, at any age it is extremely difficult. I have been playing in Pink Floyd tributes for well over a decade now and I still wrestle with the slide parts. Too many people think that Pink Floyd music is real simple to play. Floyd has a feel and if all of the musicians are not in sync, it can get away from them. Whenever people listen to Great Gig they always listen for the singer. Why? Because most of the Great Gig videos here have either Floyd themselves playing the music or an accomplished tribute band. These kids tackled what is in reality a very difficult song for every instrument involved. The dynamics in this song are incredibly difficult, so give these kids a break. They picked a song that people always take for granted, but very few people can actually play.

Besides that, Gilmour plays it on a lap steel which I'd imagine is much different than playing slide on a Les Paul. I'd imagine that getting the same sound out of a Les Paul is well above that kid's skill level, so good on him for giving it a try.

Singer does a nice job and kudos to the kid on keyboards. However, the guitarist just plain sucks, he needs to practice more or give it up. He practically ruins the entire song and drags the other musicians down.

As a Pink Floyd fan since they started (yes, I am that old!), this is one of the better singers, great gig in the sky.

This entire band did an excellent job, & the young lady was absolutely phenomenal! One of the best vocal covers I"ve ever heard for the song!!!

To truly be great an artist has to put themselves "out there" and this is one of the most out there songs ever, this young lady is incredible.

Her amazing vocals knocked it out of the park. Fantastic melodical pipes she has indeed.

where does anyone get the right to criticize these kids !! this is where it all starts, school bands, basements and garages of course the vocals are good we are born with that instrument so she is ahead on the curve ... it isn't perfect, but its fun and we all enjoyed it ... keep practicing and never give up !! Rock'nRoll \m/

About as good a cover of this incredibly difficult song as you will find anywhere. Very well done.

God, I just love it when Pink Floyd transcends generations. So awesome these high school kids are playing this in the 2010s!

I just spent a few hours listening to "reactions" to Pink Floyd and tribute bands such as Brit Floyd and The Australian Pink Floyd Show. Those bands have been practicing Pink Floyd covers for more than twice as long as these kids have lived. And this was great. I am wonderfully impressed. The singer has an amazing voice. You are all going on an amazing journey for the rest of your lives.

Vocals are beautiful, I hope she gets to where she dreams to go in life!

Young lady has a remarkable voice. She must also have tremendous confidence to pull that particular tune off so well. BRAVO! And the other young musicians on stage did a fantastic job. Really really wonderful to see and hear this performance. Lucky it came up on my suggestions.

Wow, just wow. One of my favorite songs ever (I'm a 60++ something). Having heard a lot of versions of this song, many of which were just excruuuuuciating, this young gal has done one of the best renditions I've heard. She does the vocals the way Clare Torrey first did them, true to tune and without the self added "flourishes" that can quickly ruin a live performance by a singer - and so often do. Great job kids.

NexySaloon all great singers need discipline. It's not all about going on America's Got Talent. Classical singers practice for many years. They start out with Talent then they practice for years

To say that she nailed it is unfair to Clare Torry, The Great Gig in The Sky is longer having parts that would require more power and control, but let's be fair, Pink Floyd have 3 or more experienced and talented singers in their concerts working together to achieve something close what Clare did in one studio take; Talullah has a jaw dropping and wonderful voice that gives anyone goosebumps and show to the world that true talent is there to be discovered. She has the voice and potential to be among the legends, she is impressive is the minimum that I can say about her. Great job!
