Echoes feels like a life, death and rebirth experience to me. The beginning looking like a day to day cycle until an empty void of nothingness hits us and then a tune of ascension bring us back to continue the day to day cycle

Echoes is a song about human empathy. And it is indeed supposed to represent a lifespan. Starting with discovery, then sinking into depression, before being freed by a realisation of the love around you
"Hey you" is so accurate

what’s the name of this tv series?
@gerarddip
Жыл бұрын
@@andrewellis712 @AndrewDraga For the uninitiated, Blue’s Clues is a kid’s TV show that ran its first series with a guiding character named Steve, (who was played by an actual guy named Steve) who acted as sort of an older sibling to the viewer. As the show grew in popularity, he felt more anxiety from the pressure to be a good role model, and the line between Steve the character and Steve the guy became more and more blurred. He also started losing his hair which made him look older than he was. All of these factors together ended with him deciding to leave the show, with his final episode being about him leaving to go to college, and being replaced by another dude named Joe. It was very traumatic due to how painfully realistic it was, and how Steve effectively really left his family on TV (Blue, Mr salt and Mrs pepper, side table drawer, etc.) AND the viewer forever.

I genuinely laughed when I heard mothers lyrics of "do you think they'll break my balls"
So well done! I actually had to pause multiple times because of unexpected bursts of laughter.
1:36 This is very accurate.
Shine on you crazy diamond, best song on earth
"Hey You" guitar solo feels like when you remember the homework for tomorrow you have to finish at sunday 11:30PM
Us And Them is quite literal perfection. My absolute favorite song from Pink Floyd.
Any Colour You Like is just an acid trip

I hadn’t realized how depressing were their songs until I watched this.
Sheep was perfect
For me Echoes represents creepy snowy weather with otherworldly creatures (I saw it in my dreams)
Breathe In The Air got me inhaling and exhaling. Any Colour You Like has no reason going that hard. Shin On You Crazy Diamond is so devastating. I love it.

me trying to explain my friends how important whale noises are to make echoes the greatest song of the band:
San tropez is so on point. First heard that album on vacation, it fit so perfect

Empty spaces is so epic and well done lmao

I could live my entire life only listening to Pink Floyd. And I’m a music FANATIC. Literally walk around with my Bluetooth speaker IN HAND lol. They ARE that good

bro the guitar solo on Hey You sends me to another planet i swear to god
us and them will never fail to be my favourite song in dark side of the moon
"Hey you with you ear against the wall Waiting for someone to call out Would you touch me"
1:31 best juxtaposition ever
Bike is literally me
Oh the young lust and Shrek is sooo perfect
Steve leaving was one of the saddest moments of my childhood no joke

@@zackari6063 They all tried psychedelics in the syd era, thats why their live performances were so long and experimental. After that they only smoked weed i'm pretty sure, but roger did accuse richard wright of doing coke on the wall sessions as one of the reasons for him firing him. Which is stupid, he was a founding member and an amazing player.
