Tyler hi, its a rare gift from the gods and unbelievably it's message relates to every generation or person who just wants to know what the enormity of this classic album empowers on you, its very dark and compulsive listening throughout your lifetime, it perfectly encapsulates every scenario both good and bad but always truthful and how it applies itself is also mysterious and spiritual quite simply it's probably the only album that you'll ever need, I'm 61 and barely a month or less goes by when I play it because of it's immense DNA or new blood group type that keeps you stable and generates almost every solution to any problem life may present to you, it should be a part of every child's learning curriculum its that powerful and meaningful.

This album came out when I was about 17 and I had never seen this video before tonight. It does the song justice. I have more time behind me than ahead of me but this music solidifies my belief that I wouldn't have rather been born at any other time in history. I loved growing up in the 60s and 70s. Live, loud, rock was the theme of the day on April 10, 1975. On stage at the Seattle Center Coliseum was Pink Floyd, and the place was packed with all those wonderful fans who come along with such a great event. I've been to more than 200 concerts in 33 states and 4 countries, but this Wish You Were Here/Dark Side extravaganza stands as the best rock show I've ever attended.

DSOTM to me is the gold standard of albums. Every aspect of it is 100% done in such a way that I don’t think it could have been executed any better. The art aspects and the knob turning formulaic parts all came together and created a whole new element with this one. I can’t think of any other full albums that are as precise and still artfully unique.

Your reply made me laugh out loud. "What have we here. . .Poetry,. . .Laddie fancies himself a poet--New Car, Caviar, 4-star daydream, 'think I"ll buy me a Football Team---Rubbish--absolute rubbish". Is that hilarious or what? I truly think that the success of the album, Dark Side of the Moon, as well as The Wall, which took this band from no place to show place, planted the seeds of their destruction--too damn bad, 'cause they were without question the best ever. I'll always Love Pink Floyd--hope you do too.

Incredible song and musical arrangement from 50 years ago now?..Iconic...What an incredible band Pink Floyd truly were?.

When I realised the majority of this song is in 7/4, it changed my entire perspective of it. I used to sing to this with absolute ease. Now it's kinda jarring how they set the music around that signature. It's even more rewarding. Timeless masterpiece
