I loved your reaction! I’m so glad you allowed to let it play through! I also liked the fact you researched the song details! Sounds to me you’re a southern gal! I’m in Nashville…my wife and I saw Roger Waters in Nashville in September of 2017. It was his “Us and Them” tour. They played all Pink Floyd songs from five different albums. They ended the concert with “Mother”. Try reacting to those two songs as well as “Shine on you Crazy Diamond” from the Pulse concert 1994! Keep the great reactions coming!! CC

I was fortunate enough to have seen The Wall in 1980 in Long Island at the Coliseum in Uniondale NY, what an incredible Show it was, a spectacular performance! It's way too much to describe here, what exactly went on at these Shows, and it was definitely a SHOW, it was so much more than just a concert. The incredible The Wall concert started with a plane, (like a small Cessna), that comes flying from the back roof rafters of the Coliseum, on fire, flying over the audience, and crashes into the right side of the stage and blew up in flames! There were also two 35 foot tall blow-up cartoon looking puppets, walking across the stage as PF was performing. Also, all during the concert, starting right at the beginning, the audience could see the Wall being built slowly with these huge cardboard Bricks, as the band was performing. As the end of the concert neared, The Wall was being completed. When it was finished the band started playing the final song of the concert with chants of,.. "Tear Down The Wall" over and over,... as the Wall was completely blown up in a pile of smoking rubble on the stage! That's just some of what went on at these epic The Wall Concerts! Pink Floyd performed only 12 concert dates of The Wall in the US in 1980, six on the east coast and 6 on the west coast. They were the hottest tickets in the country at the time and fairly hard to acquire, as I said in my first sentence, I was very fortunate to get my hands on a few. Besides the worldwide tour of The Wall in1980 and 81, there is also a full-length movie entitled, The Wall, it was released in 1982.

Finally saw The Wall when Roger Waters haul out an updated version around a decade ago. I did see Floyd in their heyday in the 1970s so got to see Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and Animals in their entirety plus saw a ripping Echoes as an Encore the first time I saw them. You are so right, their shows and their sound is like no other, amazing, amazing band and the best shows I ever saw. As the Mandalorian says, It Is the Way. Enjoy. 🎵

My favourite PF performance and I never tire of watching it. One of the only regrets that I have in life is not being at the Pulse concert; I was in my twenties at the time at living in South London so I could have been there. Unfortunately I did not start appreciating PF until later in life. Wish I had a time machine!

I saw this concert twice, on May 23 and 24, 1994, Montreal Olympic Stadium. My employer (Labatt Breweries of Canada) was the sponsor for the three shows in Montreal, they were offering employees discounted tickets, in addition to a draw of a few dozen tickets I bought mine for May 23 and I won those (a pair) for May 24. Some people have asked me, "Why are you going to see this show twice?" When they finally saw the DVD of this show a few years later, they understood why I was there twice.

With a dozen good friends, front row center for this show. New Orleans, Superdome 94. 5th and final time to see them. Dark Side, Wish, Animals in quad arena sound, The Wall and finally Pulse. Had to look back to see the disco ball unfold. The three female vocalist performed a beautiful rendition of “Great Gig In The Sky.” Might have been my age, or perhaps their years of recording and touring, but this period of live performances are a personal favorite. “Live From Gdańsk” is a must watch, along with St. Mark’s Square, Venice in the rain. Always enjoy watching new fans express a fascination for Floyd.

@ Vic Provost. I had a laugh reading your comments, because it’s so true. I’ve got kids and grandkids that play, and they accuse guys like us of living in the “Goldilocks Era” of popular music. Perhaps none of us truly appreciated the moment while in it, but looking back to the Classic Rock Era, ( as well as before and after) many are discovering that the music of our formative years contained an “ embarrassment of riches” that holds up quite well today. Whether it was art, literature or music, I’m happy to remain an analog kid in a digital world. It suit’s me just fine. Sounds like it does you as well.

It’s so unusual to hear a young southern girl listening to Floyd. I mean it’s awesome and very cool, well done with the reaction and NOT pausing in a Gilmour solo! I saw you did Echoes, wow.! Seriously! If you want to react to anything Floyd try and make it Pulse. Try and read up on the band’s history. So much with this band references the class system in England. These guys were middle and upper middle class. Gilmour’s guitar playing shows that, especially his later stuff. Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page totally different. There is a lot of content here and I appreciate you reading up at the end, subscribed.

I love the way you look at what's behind the songs, it's a great way of getting the most out of them. Roger Waters is my favourite lyricist. He's an absolute genius and together with guitarist David Gilmour and keyboard player Rick Wright's musicianship produced some stunning work. Having gone their separate ways, their subsequent individual albums have resulted in Roger Waters work having the best lyrics by far and Gilmour's Pink Floyd having the edge musically. If you ever check out any of Roger Waters albums please continue looking at the lyrics. Great reactions👍👍👍

Love the way you are cruisin' through Pink Floyd. - The Wall album is interpreted by some as akin to a 'Rock Opera'. A fictional life story ( of a rock star - 'Pink' ), that reflects and parallels some of Rodger Water's life experiences. From a baby crying out at birth, through school, adolescence, marraige; and into complete mental breakdown. Made to be listened to from start to finish - it's well worth the time and effort. They don't make them like this anymore. Can't wait to join you through it.

Looking good my dear and you just did one of TBE top live performances by any band, any time and any where. I saw Pink Floyd 4 times, twice in the 70s when Roger Waters was still in the band. They were always awesome, this tour you are looking at was off the charts, I saw that one in Foxboro MA in 1994. The 70s shows especially have the best memories as I saw Dark Side of the Moon followed by an encore of Echoes the first time, then WIsh You Were Here and Animals as separate, scintillating sets the next tour. I saw their guitarist David Gilmour tour solo, twice in the same week

I also saw Roger Waters 4 times after he left Floyd, the first time with Eric Clapton on guitar for the Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking tour, it was cool to hear Eric take on Pink Floyd classics. I also saw Roger haul out the entire Wall, including updated graphics and an amazing sound system, which they always had the best PA systems I ever heard. You just can't go wrong with Floyd, they always take you to a different place and help you forget reality when listening to them. Try One of These Days, The Nile Song and Hey You for a nice sample of songs that don't get reacted to as much as other Floyd. Enjoy! 🎵

One of my local rock stations did a complete play-through of the album with Roger in the studio and Roger explained every detail of what each song meant and how the album is essentially a journey of Roger's life. This album, along with Boston's first 2 albums, are my favorite albums of all time. "Comfortably Numb" is one of my favorite songs of all time. My #1 favorite song of all-time is Boston's "Hitch a Ride".

It's funny to have found out that the concert that Roger Waters spoke of was the one which I saw them back in June of 77 at the old Spectrum in south Philly. Back then it was just the four of them with Snowy White as backup on guitar and bass. Never woulda known if the story wasn't made public all those years later. They were touring Animals at the time. I never really got the Wall. To me, and still to this day, it was a couple really good tunes(including this one) and a boatload of filler. Being 19 at the time of its release, the last thing I wanted to hear was snotty English kids whinning about school and the British class system. I wanted to rock!! I wanted Animals part 2 but never got it. Thank God they only continued to play only the few good tunes off the Wall in their future concerts. I saw them 9 times between 87 and 94 and was never disappointed once. This finale changed depending on the configuration of the venue. Sometimes the thing popped out of the crowd, and sometimes it was behind the stage depending. Thanks for the walk down memory lane!

The 'ballooning hands' thing is not some chronic childhood illness, it is simply a fever-induced delusion -- I have experienced it myself, once, as a child. It's weird AF, and although it has very acid-trip-like visual effects, it has no lasting consequences. It is simply used here as a reference on how his ailment made him feel, as it is counter-balanced by the meds he got from the doctor. Numb and fine with it because it doesn't hurt anymore. Comfortably Numb.

The second verse is a comparison to the first verse about what happens to us as we age. When we are young, we have dreams of how it's gonna be. As we age we begin to understand that it will never be that way and we become "comfortably numb" and just accept how it is. This song and "Time" have always made me contemplate my life. They are so good at getting us to think. Roger Waters is an eccentric genius. So hard to get along with that they kicked him out of the band over thirty years ago, but without him they would have never been so great.

Two old songs of PF that you Will like: Fearless, and Childhoods End. Both songs in Nick Mason's (the drummer of PF). I think you Will like to react. Thank you.

You need to react to all the songs from PULSE Concert, but best version include Comfortably Numb is the PULSE Restored and Re-Edited. The versions of the original songs are better

note that Roger wasn't even in the group anymore at this concert. The Wall was his ego trip and I don't like it much except for this song. I really don't have a good opinion of Mr Waters

You need to listen to the album version and not the concert video. It doesn't sound right at all.

You can tell their old here because the music is so slow. It puts me to sleep 😴. My eyes are closing. I’m falling asleep 💤. So boring.
