Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii Flac Lossless Audio
The main footage in and around the ancient Roman amphitheater in Pompeii, Italy It was filmed over four days in October 1971, using the band's regular touring equipment
Adrian Maben had become interested in combining art with Pink Floyd's music, and during 1971, he attempted to contact the band's manager, Steve O'Rourke, to discuss the possibilities of making a film to achieve this aim. After his original plan of mixing the band with assorted paintings had been rejected, Maben went on holiday to Naples in the early summer
During a visit to Pompeii, he lost his passport, and went back to the amphitheater he had visited earlier in the day in order to find it. Walking around the deserted ruins, he thought the silence and natural ambient sounds present would make a good backdrop for the music. The local authorities to close the amphitheater for six days that October for filming

THIS IS THE BEST VERSION OF ALL!!! Live in Pompeii was the first Pink Floyd VHS I owned and I literally watched it till the tape broke. I love it that much!
This is by far the best version of "A Saucerful of Secrets". They should have recorded it this way on the album.

Love this Real music ! I tried to upload the Full Pompeii , blocked ! Then tried just Echoes , blocked ! The tried just 3 songs together , blocked ! WTF its history, why block 40 +year old music ! They didn't block this........... you people stay safe out there, that virus is serious, Floyd will help you survive ! This is Pink Floyd - incredible!
The Live At Pompeii VHS and then DVD have always been favorites of mine. This is my favorite track the way the film is made. I wish they would come out with a 4K Blue Ray with a better Mix on the Sound track, but with the way things stand with the remaining members I'm not holding my breath.

This song from 1971 is 50 years ahead of it's time. It encapsulates, perfectly, the energetic distortions of the year 2021.
It's really really sad that so many people don't have Floyd in their life, I couldn't imagine my life without them!

This piece from MY “Fab Four,” but I always include Sid - he set the stage for the others to develop. Pompei was a brilliant move and Saucerful of Secrets shows their talent and vision. It’s a little crude, but you can hear what’s coming. I wonder if Roger, Dave, Rick, and Nick knew what was coming.

If you get the chance go see Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets LIVE. They really do justice to the legacy of the Old Floyd...when they used to be a Rock Band. Saw them here in Tulsa, OK October 2022.
