About 40 years ago a friend of mine created a variation of table tennis where a empty pop can was placed on the table centerline one paddle length from the end. It created wild deflections that really improved a players reflexes. Also, if you knocked over your opponents can you won the game outright. IIRC knocking your own can over lost you the game. He called the variant "pivous-whiss". It was hilarious to play.

In my opinion I think level 10 should be a bit higher, making the ball float telepathically is a very hard skill to learn, and also then hitting it as well.

Performing tricks that likely took many takes is not the same as winning tornaments. It`s similar to these kids with insane football skills that can destroy everyone at their local football club, but when they try it against pros, the tricks don`t work. Not that I am taking anything away from these guys, and their dedication!

4:04 I did this level 95 trick a lot when I was a little child and my arms were short. When I could not reach the ball, I would throw the racket with a 70% success rate.

Well it's not defying anything. It's fully based on the way you spin the ping pong ball. You can even try it at home by taking a ping pong ball, spinning it backwards while throwing it forwards a bit. It will bounce back to you and if you leave it on it's own, it will even follow a zig Zag route on the floor with each bounce.
