The player has a sense of humor, messing with the camera, and flickering the lights like a Loony Tune.

That bus has some good suspension

"Pine Harbor." More like "Darkhill: Silent Wood." This game seems to perfectly blend the environments of Silent Hill with the gameplay mechanics of Darkwood, while capturing neither games' charm. I hate to say it, but while it certainly *looks* good in both visual fidelity and atmosphere, I think the entire story, dialog, character development, pacing... etc. would need a complete overhaul in order for this to have any chance of really taking off.

Wow! Well, that was an interesting game, hopefully with future updates, we will come to understand... or not. One things for sure, glad I didn't have Epilepsy or this video might have been a problem. With the light switches.

The only thing that takes me out so far (i'm at 12:49) is the super smooth camera movements when walking and inside vehicles. It was better in the smaller car for a few seconds but then it smoothed out which was hilarious because the second it did the guy goes "Bumpy road huh". I spit my drink.

It definitely needs work, most of it is clearly thought with store assets, I think some of the voices might even be AI and it’s clearly inspired by SH1 & 2. But it has potential.

I played this game hoping for a silent hill-esque experience but played for 1 hour. but found it a survival zombie type game. and uninstalled it. I wanted to play more to know story but could not find my way back to house after darkness fell and there were monsters everywhere and no batteries and no ammo made it impossible. After reloading, the night immediately comes and you are again in same situation. you can outrun enemies but it takes away the joy of exploration on 1st playthrough.

The game it looks nice , but when I start play any horror game and I see any funny scene I get off the console

Definitely needs more time in the oven. The overall esthetic and tone is very Silent Hill.. Downpour. 😖 Combat should be minimized and enemies way tougher to kill IMO.

I see a tiny map and ps3 grade graphics and characters I could care less about. This is going to suck.

Yeah im not so sure about this game, I mean I get that its probably not complete yet but the Horror Genre needs to change, these Silent Hill/Resident Evil rip offs are getting tiresome, all these ruined out old houses and small towns look the same and its all just running around getting resources and fighting off lame zombies and so on, we need something new, something more imaginative other than all these copies of a copy of a copy games. I mean it looks great and the level of detail in the graphics are great but its just something we've done a million times already, I can see people buying this and after a couple of hours getting bored. I suppose the very nature of an open world game can only ever be getting resources and going from one location to another and I guess thats always gonna be a thing, but it needs some new approach and location, not sure what that would be but we need something.
