I hope you have enjoyed the video! Please let me know in the comments if you have also tried decorating your hearing devices (or if you remember the iconic pimp my ride).

I love this video so much! Have you tried swimming with your Aqua+ on yet? Can you recommend it?

Yes, the aqua+ works and is good. It definitely muffles the sound though and you need to wear a headband or something to keep it on.

Thanks, honestly I'm amazed I got it even looking vaguely right even though none of the stickers are exactly centred.

I will get my CI this Monday. Finally. I had been planned for 4.5., but got Coronavirus. How long do Stickers for a CI last?

Good luck! The processor stickers can last up to 3 months until you need to change the microphone cover.

Hi nelle❤️i was expecting a blue peter moment when you said here is one i made earlier🤣you did a good job,the coloured twisty things really showed it off! People are going to stare especially when they see a young person with a CI/ hearing aids,so you have given them something to stare at! Why should you have to wear your hair down to cover up your CI & hearing aid,i first got hearing aids at 26 there were no stickers or twisty things back then! You really own being deaf now! I noticed a roger mic is that something new? There is a young lady named imy harriss who is getting a cochlear implant,i gave her your name if she needed any advice, there is an 18 mth waiting list! And as its through the NHS i expect they will only implant one ear! Have you had any problems with your CI/hearing aid during this hot & humid weather especially with sweat? ❤️❤️❤️

@@nellefindlay that’s good to know, i’m at the end of my assessment journey, just have to sign consent! but my consultants opted for MED-EL, so might be different but it’s always interesting to hear other people’s experiences, because barely anyone documents them! so thank you! i’ve been watching your videos throughout this whole journey!!

@@nellefindlay Yes, both were before your childhood! Vision On was the first TV programme aimed at children with hearing impairment. It and Playschool had fun "how to” films. Have a great time in Spain.
