Herr sahin Und die wurde schon vor mehr als 10 Jahren entwickelt. Kommt immer wieder so rüber als wäre das Ding vielleicht 4-5 Jahre alt.(Also die 380 jetzt)

Das Video ist eins der absoluten Highlights, finde ich. Sehr schönes Flugzeug, sehr schöner Flughafen, mit beeindruckenden Impressionen.

Klasse Bericht und beeindruckender Kommentar des Piloten. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass man in solch einem Flugzeug noch mit dem Hintern fliegen kann bzw. muss. Eigentlich beruhigend.
What a beautiful landing Captain Raps! I have always wondered how clear the passengers can see the cars and people on the bridge underneath them when I would drive over it and now I know. And what a beautiful day! Just love this video.

Soooo viel elektronik..aber der flieger schaut so gut aus..die geschwungenen tragflächen einfach einmalig.

....und die 747-400 sie war die Königin der Lüfte ! Nun fliegt kein A 380 mehr, keine 747-400 und Jürgen Raps ist auch längst im vetdienten Ruhestand...

Gunter Ganter der A380 hat so einen starken Auftrieb, da passiert das schnell, dass die Federung den Vogel noch mal springen lässt. In der Kabine merkt man bei Flugzeugen dieser Masse (fast) nichts davon. Allerdings fängt man diese Riesenflieger auch nicht ab, wie man es zB bei kleinen Propeller- oder Segelflugzeugen macht, die man knapp über der Bahn hält, bist die Strömung praktisch abreißt.

man reduziert lediglich die Sinkrate ein wenig. Bei "kleineren" Jets wie der 737 oder dem A320 sieht man das relativ gut bei der Landung, wie die Nase nochmal bisschen hoch geht.
Now this is how it's done. Great teamwork in the cockpit.
Die Groundcrew ist eine eigene Crew der Lufthansa, wie übrigens auch an vielen anderen Flughäfen.
In jeder Hinsicht ein sehr tolles Video .Für mich eines der besten auf KZread.

Da stimme ich dir zu, Tim07737! Habe mir die DVD auch gekauft und finde sie echt klasse! Aber muss ehrlich zugeben, obwohl ich männlich bin, kommt da eine Stelle, was auch einen Mann die Tränen in die Augen treibt! Ich rede von der Stelle, wo Jürgen Raps offiziell Abschied nimmt und sich in die Rente verabschiedet, das ist zu emotional!
Piloten solcher teile sind die besten der besten.Respekt !!!Ich werde bei meinem FSX bleiben müssen.

I watch this video so many times, heared all the warnings and audibles and seeing extra crew inside cockpit assisting and checking around while trying to land this gigantic plane, add the most coolest and relax pilots I ever seen I am not stopping from flying plane. Absolutely great video good job

ich war schon 2x in San Francisco ,einer meiner Lieblingsstädte . 1x mit der Königin der Lüfte 747-400 und einmal mit der A 380
This is wonderful video, absolutely great. This man is not a football star so to know his professional career in details and everything he did but I may assume he did alot and is a brilliant routiner. For us amateurs we feel impressed as for us this is an adventure to get this enormous machine transfered from Europe across the ocean to another part of the world and being safely landed on to the SF airport with all those people behind your backs. For this man it must be a simple routine which is an amazing skill. I wouldn't dare to even turn the engines on let alone everything else they do. Bravo.

The commentary starting at 6:42 is very interesting. For those who don't understand German, he's saying that as they get closer and closer, more and more concentration is required and that the key is to quickly make small corrections because larger ones can't be carried out effectively at that point.
