Canoe sterns are so useful - not just for ice breaking but for following seas - shame most new boats have a flat transom.

thats cos theres no bbq on the aft deck , so the lost space isnt vital for the beer cooler or the bbq , although a cold beer wouldnt be a problem id be guessing.

Impossible to deploy a similar boat on the river Elbe, the ice there is the toughest in the world, real made in Germany stuff.
