One consideration regarding refills. Even if the refill costs roughly what the entire pen costs, it’s still great to buy the refills. Less waste, less plastics in landfills. Less petroleum products.

Great video. My only complaint about the G2 pens is I wish they had more colors in the .5 and .38!

Love the Limited. They write smooth, great in the hand and the colors of the barrels are beautiful.

I myself am a Pentel EnerGel gel ink fan. I prefer weightier pen bodies, so I purchased the Pentel EnerGel Alloy Retractable gel pen which has a metal body. I was disappointed in that the retractable button performed as you describe with the Pilot G2 Limited. When you press the button to extend the cartridge tip, the button does not stay down, so you cannot tell by looking at the button whether the cartridge tip is extended or retracted. I too find it to be a flaw in the pen's design.

Walmarts has a house brand metal gel retractable pen. It writes nicely, but I wish it had a rubber grip. I find that it feels like my Cross pen (little too slippery)

I thought the G2 Pros had been discontinued. Used to love using them years ago but was never able to find them again.
