I'm genuinely looking forward to the day when those who support Republican policies can again do so, and hold their heads high. Not that I want them to do so, as I disagree with most Republican policy positions, but that people _could_ do so based on policy would signal that, once again, America's democracy would be fully functioning. Unlike how it is today.

Based on the evidence, 10 or 11 will reach a decision quickly. The last one or two will hold out, claiming "it's not been proven beyond _all_ doubt", but without providing any "reason" for their position. I'm hoping the two lawyers on the jury will take the lead in resolving this in the jury room, so they can all go home quickly.
Trump has until Monday to skip town. I hear Siberia is lovely this time of year.

Looking at the professions of those jurors I have to conclude that these are extremely intelligent people. I have no doubt they will reach the correct verdict. Judge Merchan has been bending over backwards not to seem biased or political, and has been extremely lenient towards the defendant because of it. I do hope he will decide on a fair and just punishment, without taking the the defendant's previous and aspired future profession into consideration. If the verdict is going to be what I think it's going to be, the defendant should get a harsher punishment than one of the witnesses got for his part in that same crime.

This is wonderful journalism, but respectfully, could you please mute your mic or at least edit it out after while a guest is speaking? I don’t want to hear the pitterpat typing reactions to a compelling conversation that I’m trying to listen to. The more interesting things got, the harder time I had listening to what she was even saying in the first place.
