@@beckybascue7012 no, when olimar gets all of his ship parts he flies into orbit, but moss starts feeling awful so Olimar had to either fly home and probably kill moss (or make her live in pain), or return to let moss live at the cost of his own life.

well technically Olimar died when he returned to the planet, since Pikmin 4 seems to have its own timeline compared to the other 3 games so Olimar died when his ship crashed back down, then he was revived after becoming a Leafling

By the logic you used for Pikmin 4's main character, alph should be gold medal, as he saved billions from starvation

Fun fact. If you ever fail a dandori or night stage, there’s an option for Dingo to immediately beat the whole thing. So he’s actually the only rescue corps member to actually help you out in the field.

He may be the only one (besides Oatchi, he may be a dog but hes still the rescue pup!) that helps you out on the field, but that doesn’t really change the ranking in any way. When you ask help from dingo, one of his dialogue says that he was forced to help you by the captain. So there’s that.

Louie's just a silly little guy. Just a silly. Just a hungry little fella.

I don't think, louie is a, evil character, he's just weird and hungry and puts eating above everything else, causing problems on his way. He doesn't control the titan dweevil, just like the bomb doesn't control the volatile dweevil. in Pikmin 4 he just wants to be alone and not get disturbed, not realizing how much he's needed, because he's, well, weird. He also mentions in his log that he rememders olimar as a good person, but doesn't really know, what he looks like. I think he's psychologically ill, but that doesn't make him evil, he's just unaware of his surroundings. The only time, he really acts evil is, when he kind of possesed the otherwise friendly ancient sirehound with these red eyes.

Olimar remarks in one of Pikmin 4's treasure entries that while he respects and admires classic heroic figures (strongly implying Zelda is a game his son plays), he personally doesn't consider himself to be one as he would tend to save himself over others in a crisis, even if his actions towards Moss suggest otherwise. For that, I would switch Olimar and Alph and the Koppai Crew as he does risk his life on an alien planet to save his people from starvation. It is arguable the Koppaites are also saving themselves from starvation so their heroicism isn't *completely* selfless, so they definitely fall behind the Rescue Corps who are just insanely selfless and save literal dozens of people with zero expectation of a reward (even if they do incidentally become rich over the course of Pikmin 4 from obtaining valuable assets that just happened to contain fuel needed for their ship to operate).

Honestly, I can't say I'm surprised that Louie of all people is ranked the most evil here. He ate all the pikpik carrots, lied about it, is heavily implied to have been in control of the Titan Dweevil, stole food from the Pikmin 3 protagonists, kickstarted the story of Pikmin 4 by essentially abandoning Olimar because of his mental state, somehow mind-controlled the Ancient Sirehound into trying to kill the Pikmin 4 protagonist, and never seems to learn his lesson. And all that for what? To satisfy his insatiable hunger?

Compared to the huge roster Smash has, of course there are characters that would outclass him in the good tier and possibly lower him to grey. That being said, he deserves at least lower good tier in my opinion if you take all of the Smash characters into consideration.

there is one more character that was not mentioned that should probably be at the top of the grey area. This character is the Sage Leaf, he is the character that gives you the final two onions after sending you through multiple trials, and is a polite old Leafling who doesn't remember his past. He is trustworthy but little is known about him. He is also the only Leafling not to be reverted.

Fun Fact: Colin mentions That the giant ancient dog before Louis tamed it was so cheerful and playful once he did it became more aggressive violent and hungry just like the titan weevil is he trying to push anyone so we can live in PNP 404

Olimar being so high up isn't something I'd agree with. He's a very honest and good guy for sure but he's also everyman who just loves his family and gets pushed around a lot. Charlie and Don are both soldiers/captains that have saved lives, and the entire rescue core as dubious as they can be *are* with your hero all providing backup in story. Hell even Alph is on a mission to save his planet with Brittany Going back to it, Olimar is just kind of a good dude and it ends there.

I wash schocked to see that britteny wasn't in the evil part sinice she gas lights charlie and alph also louie has an eating disorder plus his grandma forced him to eat bugs

If you factor in his Pikmin 2 actions, he goes into the evil territory. He ate the golden carrots he was entrusted with, lied about it causing the company he works for to be in debt, and causing Olimar's ship to be taken. Also he likely controlled the Titan Dwevil that tried to kill Olimar and the President.

The Pikmin themselves would rank as low tier good for their bravery and loyalty, but willingness to kill because they were directed to. The major and minor enemies like the Bulborbs would rank as low tier neutral because they can fight or kill the explorers and Pikmin, but its more of an instinct for survival than malicious intent.

Pikmin 4 Hero easily most heroic. Pure Heroism and not a single morality flaw to speak of. Olimar and Alph being the next two. I might consider switching Captain Charlie and Ochi, but seem pretty equal. Creatures would default to grey. But where would the Pikmin be? Good given how helpful and loyal they are? Or Grey since they could follow a bad guy if they were found by them? Louie is easily the evilest, he is a total douche and is the only character who really be considered a villian.
