Woo Hoo! I figured out how to make Google Translate work on your captions without breaking my phone! Your test looks so formal. Did you have to take a day off from work to attend? Do you have another coming up? You've made so much progress since then.

KZread automatic subtitles are not supported? With the CC button? The test is formal because there are set rules. Since this exam is on a weekday, I took a vacation, but it is not the case when it is taken on the weekend. The grade (in korea) is beginner level And it consists of grades 1-8. Beginner level evaluates edge skating and crossover, and from level 1, there are free skating tasks. Level 1: Waltz, single salchow, single toe loop (1m30s free skating) Level 2: Axel, Double Salchow Level 3: Double toe loop ....Level 8: Triple Axel 😮 There are mandatory assignments. I am preparing a 'Level 1' free skating choreography that includes 4 jumps, 2 spins and 1 step sequence in 1 minute and 30 seconds.

@@onice_song The automatic translate doesn't work on the written comments you write across the display or the documents you show, like the ones showing the requirements for the test. It's okay with the spoken word, and i use it a lot. Sadly, it is very very bad with Japanese so I get nonsense. Back in the day, we had very informal exams at the beginner levels. The teacher just verified we could do the requirements and signed the paper. Formal tests came when the skater reached higher levels. Even then, the adults were kind of brushed aside. I was kind of surprised to see adult tests being conducted on a weekday, because in the US they usually try to keep adult activities on weekends. We used to skate after work and on weekends. Of course, when children skate before and after school, someone has to drive them. Some kids are home schooled due to their skating, or go to special private schools. It's up to the individual families to figure that out. I'm happy to see things have changed so much.
