why don't you add gutters to the pig palace to ketch the water for the barrel. that way it won't get the compost wet. just an idea.

You need a saw bag! Get you a bag to keep your saw accessories in. Spare chains, longer blades, starter fluid, maintenance tools. That way everything is in one place that can be easily tossed in the trailer whenever you need to use your saw. No running back and forth for parts.

You are getting the routine down pat. I love what the new graze land looks like. Great job with the pigs and then follow up with mowing and cutting down the rest of the undergrowth! Great video!

I have been reading about silvopasture for a year or so now. It creates savannas which are typically more productive than other ecosystems because they are so beneficial to both plants, trees, and animals. I am doing this on my farm, just in reverse. I have almost no trees and am planting them in the pasture instead of removing forest and growing grass. Either way, silvopasture and savanna ecosystems are amazing. Great work Justin (and pigs).

Eavestrough on your pig port could be a catchment source for water. Have barrels to catch the run off. It would also help stop the leaking.

Justin I like to carry a Silky Big boy saw with me when I’m walking pasture edges or trails. I think I’m actually faster keeping saplings at bay with my silky when I consider all the time I use lugging the chainsaw and keeping it maintained. Beautifully edited today. “Don’t eat the lillies” sounds like a rule of thumb for life.

Get a can of bright colored spray paint and paint your hitch pins and any hand tools that might get lost so they stand out against the green grass. Just of thought . . . .my dad did that to all of his hand tools so they didn't get mixed up with the tools of other workers.

Skwrench - the chainsaw combo wrench and screwdriver. Always carry it with you when you are using a chainsaw. And don't forget to turn your bar over so it wears evenly on both top and bottom.
