At what age you start training your birds? How old is your pigeons?

my pigoens are almost 2 months old, what i am doing is bringing them away from the loft just 20-50meters, so they learn the basket and they get used to the basket. they now from an early age that if they are released from the basket that they need to go to the loft

How do you know for sure from such a young age of birds that they are male or female?

The roofing on the loft is quite slippery isn't it?

yes it is, but that doesnt matter, once they can fly they CAN NOT go on the roof, its a forbidden place for the pigeons
