@@eastafrica1020 I really don't understand this. 🤔 If there isn't any new content, no notifications. What's the deal about unsubscribing when content slows down? Do you use your subscription list as a channel/viewing selection? I'd really like to know. As a small creator, I see people dropping my channel if my output is slow. I really appreciate your thoughts!!!
Pete I'd recommend keeping just one channel you don't need more work to do editing. Keep it simple. Your channel is doing well enough don't worry about us viewers, if we watch detailed tractor restoration or not your people will stick around waiting for farm work to show up in your next videos.

Exactly.,...I watch some of the tractor videos as I have an interest, but until I start tearing down tractors myself, I can't always sit through a full video...I like the farm videos as mindless animal watching but I love Pete's reflections and dad jokes...I can always find something I like in a video...As someone once said,, he's the "Paul Harvey" of KZread.
Pete. I enjoy both farm and tractor content. But, mostly I like the nice people that you and Hillary are. You are a kind and gentle spirit. I'll keep watching either way.

I think you nailed it! Or at least that’s true for me. The content is top-notch but it’s Pete and Hilarie who are the draw. I would so value them as neighbors and probably most of us feel that way. We are all starved for kind community. Why is it so hard to create nowadays?

if your views per video have fallen off this winter,, it’s not all because of the content. You Tube deprioritizes channels that don’t put out weekly content. to have you tube keep your channel in its top recommendations you have to put out a video weekly. also a lot of creators are asking their viewers to check to see if their channel has been unfollowed. you tube is unfollowing channels without the viewer knowing about it. so if a channel dosent come up for awhile in peoples feed they didn’t know that they had been unfollowed from a channel & the channel had new content that they hadn’t watched
glad to hear you donated pigs for food pantry...awesome! my family worked at a food pantry for 10 years and served another 3 years serving food on the streets to the homeless...so i know the value you gave and how many families you helped. THANK YOU!!!

Great idea with donating the pork. Always warms my heart to see fellow Farmers do that. Watching and listening to the cattle eating is very calming. 👍👍👍
Sorry to see the pigs are gone. Billy didn't live up to his potential. Thanks for donating them for the hungry.
Pete, you and Hilary are like the neighbors down the road you love to visit. Doesn't matter what your doing I just like to stop by and enjoy!

I don't believe you need to change anything about your content. It's perfect. It's original. It's your style. Have a great day Pete!!
I found your channel because of the pig content. But I have stayed because I enjoy the quiet, calm and gentle nature of your content. When the day has been stressful, I find your channel and spend some time with you. And that makes everything a little better.
Pete, as a young farmer I enjoy your content. I always look forward to seeing what I can learn from your new videos. I honestly appreciate it
Billy will be greatly missed he was so friendly we really enjoyed him!!
I will always enjoy your videos no matter what comes in the future. Keep being you. Your content is always pleasing. Thank you.
Do whatever is easier for you Pete. I love watching all of you videos. As far as I’m concerned, Tractor Maintenance is vital to any Farm! Every Farmer should be able to do Maintenance and Repair their equipment and the views should know it’s part of the territory! Another Channel wouldn’t change that fact. Love from Guam ❤️

Very kind to donate the pigs. However I am really disappointed losing pig content.
Pete I really enjoy your in depth technical tractor videos as much as I enjoy the farm related content, please don’t shorten them.
I wasn't surprised when you said you donated your pork to a food pantry. It is so typical of you to be thoughtful and generous. You are a wonderful human being. P.S. loved the ending with the cows munching their hay. I found myself grinning from ear to ear the whole time. Thank you, Pete, for what you do.
Ah, we've missed you, but glad you took a break. Everyone needs that! How generous of you to donate the pork to the food bank!
Congratulations Pete, for giving yourself permission to take a break. We all need that.
Peter I am 80 years old. Being 55 and feeling uncertain is a dangerous. I remember I grew uncertain and took out my ax and started swinging. It cost me money, friends and certainty. Eventually I was forced to find a center that was sturdy enough to depend on. And I retired at 70 with enough wealth to keep us comfortable. I have been blessed by health and good doctors. I wish the same for you. I like you and I wish you well. Bob

I love it all and please don’t make the tractor videos less instructional!! That’s why I love watching you! I really feel like I actually learned something after watching you! Thanks Pete!
Good use of the pigs mate. Very noble, help a lot of folks.
Ok, does anyone think that Pete needs to trim the bush at his shop door??? You’re killing me Pete! 😂. The sound of cows eating does make it all better tho!
I swear Pete... you and Hillary are like old friends, every week or so we get together for coffee and you tell us what you are doing and plans and thoughts. Just a nice quite conversation and a few bad jokes! I'm about your same age and both my wife and I just enjoy watching you do life. It's a nice calm easy feeling. Thanks for filling our day!
Pete, I love watching your tractor videos. I'm a 69-year-old woman and know very little about mechanics. Nevertheless, I enjoy your videos just as they are. They're soothing, relaxing, and an escape from the world for me.
Looking forward to seeing the new brooder set-up. It's a shame that Billy did not work out especially, he seemed like a nice and friendly boar. Having all that labor in cleaning out those pig stalls be eliminated will be so nice, I imagine. Happy to see an upload again, but also happy you had a respite from the filming.
I just wanted to say thank you Pete. You and Hillary are valuable to us all. God bless
I understand why you did it Pete but I can't help but shed a tear for Billy.
Thank you Pete and Hillary! My two cents, I like your instructional tractor videos! It helps people like us to be able to afford a great farm life. You're an awesome coach and teacher. Take care!!
Welcome back Pete. I like your variety. No matter what you are filming I appreciate the message you deliver. This from an old farm kid 60 years ago.
The tractor work is always amazing. Sad to see that billy didn’t work out. I miss John and JJ.
Nothing like the sound of happy cows chewing hay brings back memories.
Ezra❤! On top of the hay bail, playing "chicken" with the tractor.😂❤
Dear Pete! I was SO GLAD to see the bush by the door this morning!!! And you, yep… I like that, too!!! 😆👍❤️
Absolutely love Just A Few Acres Farm. Peter, you and Hilary are so genuine and passionate, providing viewers with thoughtful insights to your farm and why you do what you do. Hilary is a perfect partner. You are so supportive of each other. Always look forward to your posts. Keep up the great work.

I would never begrudge you any break, just know you will be missed every time. Love you guys!!!
It was nice to hear Hillary talking about what she likes! Maybe more videos focused on her activities?? I could see her excitement of the improvement for her chickens!!
Looking forward to seeing the garden and new brooder space. I will miss the big pigs but you have a business to take care. Thank you for donating them to the food shelter.
My husband, the you tube guy in our home, and I watch you all the time, just wanted to let you know that I know nothing about tractors but do enjoy watching you rebuild tractors, fascinating. Will miss seeing the pigs, but I certainly understand the decision. Wonderful idea to support your community by donating to your local food pantry.
I like both the 'farming' and the 'technical' content equally and therefore I would prefer to see both types of content on this single channel in the future. And TBH I think that would be advantageous even for all the people, who are primarily only interested in one of your different kinds of content because they are maybe 'accidentally' view a video that can make them curious about a topic they are initially never care about. And just a side note: I really appreciate your imperial/metric jokes!
What a GREAT SOUND to end the video with! Thanks for another comfortable visit with you and Hilary at your farm!
the joke made me roll my eyes... You did the right thing about the hogs. I did miss you.... Love having Hill about.
March has been gloomy without you Pete .
I’m going to miss Billy, I always got a kick out of him. He had a happy life on the farm.
Glad you are back, Pete. Looking forward to more, of your upcoming videos. We all wish you and Hillary, many days of happy farming. ❤
Please keep one channel, for me and most others comments like the diversity, the mix of both farming and tractor rpr/rebuilds. Thank you for both of your generosity, donating the pigs. You and Hillary bring smiles, and sometimes tears. God bless you both.....stay well be safe, with love from NE rural Ohio.
I always love your metric conversions…gives me a great chuckle!😅 Thanks for sharing your day with another great video!
I like that you have both the tractor and farm videos on the same channel. And as far as you taking breaks, I wouldn't worry about that, I'll wait.
If my vote counts, keep your videos as they are. I've seen too many times that people try to "improve" their content only to do the opposite. You may feel doing the same over and over gets stale, but as a viewer that's why I'm here. Take care Pete

FYI I think your tractor videos are not only super interesting for an old lady that only minimally plays with her VW anymore, but invaluable to have and serve the world, especially in these times. We need these videos for our future farmers. Especially if times get weirder than they already are. Your knowledge is invaluable. Plus it's super cool to watch you break down a huge project into do-able bites which is a great lesson in itself. Thanks for these videos, missed you, but knew you'd be back :D
I just love #2208, so cute with the curly head 😊 Good choice on saying goodbye to the big pigs and went to a wonderful cause. Ty

We have surely missed you Pete, You are without a doubt my Families Favorite FARMER! and expert on lots of things. We are happy you are back.
Very nice gesture donating the pork. Happy cows 🙂
Thanks Pete for feeding us.
There’s only one thing better than the sound of cows eating hay, and that’s the sound of cows eating grass in the summer. 😊
Your generosity in giving the pigs to the food pantry says alot about what kind of people you both are. I'm sure it will be much appreciated by those who will benefit from it. Well done
Great to see you Pete! I have missed your content. Been in a funk for the last few months, just coming out of it. I will miss piglets, but understand why you made the decision that was best for you and your wife!
Can’t wait to see you build out your brooder. I raised 700 birds in our garage because I thought it was the safest place and we didn’t have to put cars in it. I put tarps down with shavings and then made four areas using dog exercise pens- you know the metal collapsible ones. I lined the inside of the pens with cardboard. And I put all my heaters inside. It worked so awesome and I loved how I could walk in and out easily. But major problem at the end of the summer…. Rats!! Rats chewed the garage door frame to get in that way. They also chewed a hole in the wall from the attached house crawl space so they could go from under the house into the garage. Never had rats before this near the house. 😳😫 So I learned a valuable lesson because I’ve been fighting off rats under the house now and have to fix the damage the rats did. I like J&L Green Farm’s brooders made from cargo containers! But I’d rather just repurpose or build an addition with a concrete floor to an existing building. I lost no baby birds to rats last year but I’m sure if I used my garage again… it would be a different story.

Rats love chicken food 😅 . I had problem with mice invading my house to feed on my dogs food that I kept in the porch. I didn't catch on what was going on until I watched them going into the dog dish and carrying the kibble in the basement through a hole they chewed in the floor . 😅 Trapping them took months 😂
I love the slow, in-depth, informational tractor rebuild videos exactly how you do them!
Awesome donation 👏
Current format of the tractor videos is great, I learn something every time I watch. I hope when you build the brooders you use the same technics as the tractor videos, so I can learn some more. Thanks

Ezra looks like a happy cat and I enjoy the farm daily chores and the rebuilding of tractors.

Pete follow your passions. I’m a believer your best at what you enjoy doing. I too like the sound of cattle munching especially the sound of green grass.
So good to see you and Hillary, I totally get it you needed a break, what ever you decide on how to make your content is fine by all who watch as we are all big fans on what you bring to the table, thanks for donating pigs to charity, looking forward to next video, keep on farming.

Your channel is great the way it is. My husband’s cousin was an engineer at Steiger tractor in Fargo, ND. We told him to watch, and he really appreciated the fine teaching as you do tractor restoration
I enjoy your tractor rebuild videos I will watch any thing you decide to make. I was so happy to hear you donated your pigs for helping the food banks It helps alot of people. God bless you both .
Great content as always ! Enjoy the mix of tractor rebuilds, farm chores, animals and auctions -keep up the good work !
Pete, the tractor videos are an inspiration to me personally. Were it not for watching you rebuild pumps, transmissions, engines and all the other incredible stuff you do to tractors I wouldn't have had the courage to replace the very leaky fuel injection pump on my 4000 Ford diesel. I bought the operator and service manuals and studied my buns off, then just like you showed us, I took it slow and methodically and took pictures and notes, and lo and behold, my rebuilt pump fired my tractor up and it runs better than ever and I'm not leaking a gallon of fuel every time I mow now. That pump replacement might not be a big deal for many but it was a milestone for me and your video content helped give me the encouragement I needed. Thank you.
I like your idea of windshield washer fluid in the tires. I don't like what calcium chloride does to rims. Thank you Pete.

Love to hear you donated the pigs to the less fortunate. I personally don't think you need to have a separate channel for the for the content you have. I love the way you have it now because it gives a variety on the content. As for less instructional, that is an important part of what you are doing and keeps it interesting for me. It is your choice obviously and I just wanted to share my feelings about the channel. Love everything you do and I appreciate you. Have a great day and I'll see you later.
Thank you. It is a good idea to take a break from you tube. Please make some garden videos in the future. Cannot wait to see some more grilling. I learned a lot about grilling from your videos.
Pete, I'm glad you could take a mental vacation from the channel. But I'm very glad you're back. Have a great weekend
Very good. Just bad luck about JJ and Billy. Perhaps The Divine steered you through it all. Yes, Change is the only Certainty. Apart, of course from The Eternal.
I like the way you discuss your work at your small farm and your reasoning for changes. You are right, you have to adapt to the market.
Those watching the tractor content become almost as invested in the projects as you do thanks to the detail and the talk while you do even small jobs on each restoration. And thanks to that level of detail/instruction, those videos will have lots of long-term staying power. Changing that up might actually devalue the tractor content and it's audience. I feel like the farm/animal content doesn't take anything away from the tractors, and the tractors certainly aren't taking anything away from the animals. People are still free to watch more of one or the other, or enjoy both.
