For 48 events over 10 years, which is roughly 4k per event. I wouldn't say that is too crazy for a family to receive 20k/year for doing around 5 events per year. It doesn't really scream corruption to me but is obviously a bit of a moral gray area. I'm sure most Canadians would sign up for being flown around, put up in nice hotels and being paid 4k for a night of pandering for charity

Then they take up further time by explaining their, "error", and taking up more daily Parliamentry time. For what its worth if Peter Mackay won the leadership vote vs otoole the conservatives might be able to topple Trudeau. The Conservative party is dead, e r we need smaller government not bigger!!! Look at the mess JT was able to do (and is still doing) to the Canadian ppl by closing all mom&pap shops and allowing massive shops like walmart, bestbuy, whitespot, the list of multi million earning companies open and mom&pap shops and restaurants getting multiple $1500 fines is sickening!!!

@@brandonspencer309 that's unfortunate yes but have you asked yourself why the big box stores have been able to stay open? I don't think it's awesome either but maybe their supply chains are more stable than tiny mom and pop stores. I could be wrong, not sure. but I do hope there are legit public health and policy-based reasons for the way covid's been handled

@@MV-wb2cz Ya I agree with you. All politicians are crooked. If they're not going in then they are once they get in. However I've never seen a politician like Pierre grill other politicians like he does so he kinda gives me hope. :)

Congratulations to Pierre for keeping his cool, being like a dog with bone, and GETTING THE FINAL ANSWER!!! The conduct of the Chair for cutting him off and wasting his assigned time was pathetic and disgusting!!

What a gong show. Stay on them Pierre hopefully Canada is paying attention to this

Funny how the clerk told the vice chair one thing and Poilievre something else, then agreed with Poilievre. Either the clerk was intentionally trying to make the vice chair look stupid or the vice chair lied and didn't think the clerk would call her out.
