Welcome to the Pier City Cycles Build series. In these videos, we'll be talking you through some of our completed in-house and customer BMW custom builds, including some signature mods and tips and tricks along the way.
In this episode, we'll show you around Peter's 2018 BMW R9T Roadster build. The brief for this Roadster was a stock, squat sporty and modern looking R9T, with plenty of poke ready to be hooned around the A-roads and maybe even the odd track day. the upgrades you've made to the r9t are impressive. The bike looks aggressive and clean. I've been looking to mod my r9t pure, you've provided me with some excellent ideas. I especially like the tail tidy. I wish you folks were in Canada, I'd ride my bike to your garage and leave you the keys and say....."surprise me"! Looking forward to viewing your video on the tail tidy. thank you and all the best!

I've been internet dream building :) I plan to get that same aluminum tank version or r nine t, but going for an aluminum/brown I'll get the aluminum badges (no black), and dark brown leather seat. Also get the headlight cover from the chrome matte version (instead of black)...and a dark gray seat support (storm) Engine guards and eventually some type of minimal luggage rack It should look really nice

Yes, this is correct. The bracket needs adapting to the bike for fitting so we don;t offer it as a plug and play headlight.
Beautiful job on this bike. Can you still ride in the rain with an air filter like that?

you can buy spacers, pretty easy job, have to cut something off of the instrument frame though
What is the support for the akro can? It seems you’ve altered or replaced the rear peg/mount bracket.

It's a BMW motorrad seat and hump/cowl. Found on the BMW website
