I'm glad you caught up the sausage for the rado. I was thinking that might help when I was watching you cook the ones at camp. I think this is going to be my breakfast this morning. Thanks for the inspiration.

Definitely better to cut up the sausage before putting it into the mix - cooks so much better. Great recipe - thanks.

I'm going to try that with oat flour and egg to make it gluten free for me, great idea as always!

When I saw your first attempt with the full sausage patties, i was thinking "cut those up", but then as you did just that in the second batch .... I sometimes mix up some Bisquick batter and add chunks of sausage, bacon, and Gouda cheese to the batter and bake it in a well greased pan .... even better with a fried egg and gravy over the top of it all .... YUMMMM !! "Thanks" for posting this ...

Was it just me? No video from about 9 minutes on. Just got my stove top pie iron like the one in the video! Can't wait to make a mess in the kitchen. As always, thanks for sharing.

Your breakfast seems to have inspired many variations that also sound delicious. I'd probably try it with veggie chorizo crumbles, the blueberry mix and the hot honey. I always enjoy your pie-iron adventures!

The hot honey is my favorite part of this video😂. I have been putting it on almost everything from biscuits to bratwurst! Not a blueberry muffin fan but you’ve given me good ideas to improvise. I look forward to all of your videos.

How bout mixing the cut up cooked Sausage directly into the dough, then put it into the pie iron….looks yummy especially with the hot honey. I have a long handled pie iron which I haven’t used yet cause it’s a bear to pack. Maybe I will purchase a smaller one like you have…..I look forward to watching what ever videos you put out

@@ShoestringMartha peach and apple are on my list. Being a solo traveler I’m often invited to share other’s meals. So I’m looking for something quick, easy and leaves them impressed. Hopefully that makes sense. I’ve been experimenting with a RidgeMonkey XL toaster. It’s just a tad bit deeper than what you’re using and has a granite cook surface. Cooking with it I have to dial down the stove too its lowest possible flame. Keep the videos coming. I’m on my last week of sessions.. All seems to be going well. Hope to be camping again soon. Temperatures here in the Midwest look to be mild the rest of the winter.

I haven’t, but I often make egg sandwiches! In fact there’s an egg and cheese croissant recipe coming up 😊

I brown mine in butter. We had 4 apiece for breakfast. Unhealthy..nasty looking but once fried real good they are pretty good breakfast. That looks good!!! one day when im up for mess cleaning..lol. i will try this. The second one looked better...and easier...less mess. Maybe next weeks breakfast
