Piddinghoe, East Sussex, St John - the augmented ring of bells

The original ring of 3 bells were re-hung for chiming in 1982. During 2023 they were restored and augmented to six by adding three treble bells donated by the Keltek Trust. This video was taken before the completion of the internal sound control work so the bells were very loud in the Ground Floor ringing room.

They are very good for their dates!! The treble is very quiet but probably on the agenda?

Bells 1, 2 and 4 are hung above the 3, 5 and 6 - I believe there are plans to try to improve the acoustics
