Lovely build, can tell the amount of thought and care placed into the whole project. When they say a bike is an extension of yourself, this is it.
Love this. The more i see these custom builds the more i think this is a better solution than a prebuilt superbike, or even a prebuilt regular nice bike.

100% The price of top end ‘nice bikes’ has got so high that you can get custom often for much less. And you get a frame made precisely to your body. The ultimate bike fit.

@@kazaroth truth. The price for a hand built frame top quality name brand one's is now the same as those top tier carbon frames...why spend that amount when you can buy custom
Love it. We need to appriciate originality and stop believing marketers, just enjoy the ride, the material used and the art.
Lol, I guess a "flush transition" is what you were looking for! And I love this bike, looks stellar!!

I was thinking "interface", but either is better than "thing" or "line"
Congratulations on your first steel bike, I’ve gone back to steel after riding plastic for 10 years, jumped on the steel bike and it was night and day difference!!!! Totally superior ride quality in my humble opinion .
Pickle's bike is beautiful! Of course, all Quirks are beautiful. But hearing it's Stainless puts an additional mark of beauty.
that is a forever bike. you can tell pickle really enjoys riding it, that's what matters. nice one.
Very nice looking bike. What does it weigh?
I like the flush lines.
Absolutely beautiful understated machine, great that Pickle picked the items that were best for him and his vision of the bike, ended up with a fantastic looking ride! 👏
Thats a siiiicko. I love steel bikes and that looks so slick. Dream bike!
For one moment I thought there were going to be two Quirk bikes in Newcastle but then you said you lived in North Devon. Brilliant looking bike, you will love riding it.
Nice to see something different on bike frames than carbon, carbon, carbon A bike that real cycle aficionados can admire and discuss 👍🙂🙂
Cracking build and the clear pride of Pickle’s ownership is great to hear/see.
That's a stunning bike. Rob Quirkis a master of bespoke frame building. Thanks for sharing gents 👏. New suscribers should take a peek of Francis's Rob Quirks videos from a few years ago 👍
What a sophisticated build. Love the timeless and classic paint scheme on it.
Wow! Gorgeous bike! Seems like more and more riders are actually switching back to steel. For heavier rides the added weight (although some steel frames are quite light) really doesn't mean anything. I'm 90 kilos so 1 kilo extra will never mean getting dropped from a group ride and it's not like I'm about to ride the tour!
Amazing build... love the stealthy look...works👌
Beautiful build, and Francis I think the word you were looking for was ‘fare’ as the tyres fare into the rims to smooth the passage of the air. I do wonder if Pickle had considered Titanium for the build rather than stainless steel-it’s the way I would have gone-but then I love Ti and have a gravel and mountain bike made from it.
That is a magnificent whip. Absolutely beautiful. I'm jealous. I need one but I'm old and it probably won't be ready before I die.
Maybe flush transition or smooth transition is what you were looking for. Lol. I like the idea of stainless steel!
I have to admit, this is a very beautiful machine. Congratulations to it! Really really beautiful!
Plain & Simply = BEAUTIFUL..................wonderful build
I can look at funny shaped carbon bikes all day and still not have that desire to own one. Steel or Titanium frames will get me to pull the money out of my wallet in a heartbeat. I adore the look of round tubes so much more. It's the only way to go if you're not going to use the bike for racing.
Love the steel bike, I too have never ridden one. I feel a renaissance, revive this form of artwork for bike frames. Flush is my new favourite word.
I love the Strade wheels, they're perfect for riding in my pancake flat country and I love the sound they make. And Parcours' customer service has also been incredible!
Beautiful bike. Great combination of stealth and bling with the bare stainless steel. *chef's kiss*
Nice bike. Nice guy. And " comfortability" is definitely my word of the week.
I was thinking "dream" build recently - that isn't far off it. 👌 I'd have campag record instead of Force, and (controversially) rim brakes with super-light wheels - purely because light weight accentuates the feeling from stainless steel bikes and (for me at least) I'd want it to feel as nimble as possible, even if it's not necessarily as fast as modern setups.
Sweet bike ! I’ve got a standert Mach 2 triebwerk. Steel with a carbon fork. It s my best bike. I love it
Absolutely beautiful bike. Definitely achieved the goal of being very nice in an understated way
I feel it takes time to learn to appreciate bikes like that. Looks fantastic. Suggestion: I use Varia as well but also use a small mirror at the end of the handlebars so I can see lights reflection of upcoming cars. Safety first 👍

Yay, me too. Out riding with a fella the other day - the amount of times he turned around to check things out and then got balked was amazing, and very dangerous. I still over-shoulder as vehicles can join from the left (in Europe) and not quite get picked up - usually motorbikes, i don't always hear them in towns, and on my wahoo I get a split second of icon. Can't ride without a bike, helmet, varia, mirror. Some dickhead politician here said that people should turn off their car lights more "to save energy". Dark car, no lights, on a dark background - invisible. Dark car 150 miles away with lights on....well, light travels pretty fast for a reason - my safety :-)
Awesome build, love the discreet color
What a lovely machine!
Is it just me or does Pickle have very similar mannerisms to Jimmi? Getting strong four raccoons in a trenchcoat vibes. Like the facade will slip and it'll be Jimmi underneath.

Super nice bike thoughtfully constructed!
I've nearly ridden all types of material in a bicycle frame but steel is where my heart is.
Very nice. Classic yet modern.
Amazing!!! I also Planning to buy a new Cycle for my e-bike Tour in Switzerland.
Beautiful bike,!!! thanks for showing it off.🎉🎉🎉🎉
Gorgeous bike congratulations!
That is indeed a very very nice bike, always impressed with Rob's frames, one day I'll get one.
Since seeing Quirk bikes on your channel I have to say it's one of the bikes I regularly day dream about.
Love this build
The bike looks awesome and the area where the b roll was shot looks amazing.
beautiful piece of design
It's about time I get to see this 😂 looks freaking awesome pickle. Quirky did you totally setup. Bring it over to Monaco.

Just a very lovely bike, what a lucky Pickle 😊 still i dream about a Stelbel build … riding it in beautifull Italy.
What a beautiful bike. 🤘
Interface, that’s the word you were looking for. Excellent bike and build!
Nice looking bike Francis👌
I need a steel bike in my life. Beautiful build!
Beautiful bike!! 🤯🤯
Steel rides so nice.
I love that Art Nouveau rear dropout.
Wow, what a bike…. Beautiful
Love metal frames, and even more if they have regular seat stays like this one.
That is one of the nicest bikes I have ever seen.
Very nice, Pickle has style.
I start to realize that weight is definitely not everything, and should become less and less important for most riders (despite what some marketeers try to tell us), but I'm still curious... what does the scale say about this beauty (or did you leave out the weight since Pickle is referring to his bike as 'SHE', in that case, forget I asked)

Actually, I used to ride a 6kg bike and now ride a 7,8-8kg bike and riding is not the same. The 6kg bike definitely was more enjoyable overall. I don't like the trend of bikes getting heavier

Great bike! Looks a little like a Standert Triebwerk :)
Got a Quirk coming soon. This did not make me less excited.
I luv steel - best looking bikes
Pickle in the STYG hat! Let’s go!
I can confirm that Pickle is in fact Backyard Nic and my baby boy.
Very nice bike. Only steel is real 👌
Love the bike, Pickle. The only thing I would have chosen differently is Wahoo over Garmin.

It looks like Columbus XCR tubing. I wish SRAM would change the orientation of the front derailleur battery. If it pointed forwards, it would eliminate all problems of wide tires touching the battery, as well as protect it from debris flying off the tire.
Very pretty bicycle. Whose lovely bottle cages are those please?
I like Pickle's stainless dill frame. 😀
Love a good steel bike
Very nice bike! I like a bike that is unique, that very few other people have. Masi made a stainless steel bike in the 80’s. It’s a nice material because of its resistance to corrosion. I wonder why more builders didn’t use it.
@grvl
Жыл бұрын
Stainless is a bit heavier, has less strength, is more complicated to weld, I wouldn't go for f.ex. stainless steel gravel frame. It's easier to maintain steel frame, every 5 years strip parts and do some anti-rust treatment inside frame. I have steel gravel bike and if I ever need a bike rust resistant, I''ll go with Ti frame. Their value loss is slower with time, compared to steel, carbon or alu frames.

Gorgeous bike. Are they king bottle cages? They match the bike really well.
I know Quirk uses 3D printed drop outs and bottom brackets as such are the dropouts and BB on pickles bike 3D printed and if so are they also stainless
Spent about 500 miles on it and so far so good. kzread.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA Pros:1. Very light2. Solid quality build3. Fast delivery: It arrived 5 weeks earlier than expected.4. Easy assemblyJust a few cons but nothing major:1. Cheap tin tubes and had flat on first day... but not a big deal. I replaced the tubes.2. Seat is a bit uncomfortable but that's pretty much the same situation with most bikes.3. Seat post is a bit long/high for a smaller size 48 bike - had to saw 2 inch off to fit properly. The lowest setting is too high. The post locking system does not seem to hold well (perhaps because I saw 2 inch off).4. wheels are not tubeless compatible (from what I can tell)
Supernice!
A stainless steel bicycle is about as bling as it fucking gets
That is a beautiful bike. I too am curious about the weight.
Beautiful bike! 😍Just out of curiosity, apart from the obvious, the rust free part, is there any difference between a stainless and a normal steel bike in terms of weight, stiffness, feel et.c.? Thanks!
Flush interface? Transition?
Are those the King Delta cages?
Lovely. What Columbus tubing does it uses and how much the frame weighs?
Columbus XCr as I understand? And for all of the weight weenies out there, it tips the scales by how much?
Beautiful bike!!! Curious - how much does she weighs?
Is Pickle Jimmy's brother? His accent and speech patterns are identical!
If I didn’t see him, I would have believed it was Chris Froome speaking
I’m not a materials expert but stainless steel and titanium are very close cousins.
28 mm makes for a FLAT transition!
Hope you don't mind me swearing, but that is fucking sick. I love my aluminium bowman and I love metal bikes.
It's a "Flush interface".....😆
