There rescue just went more than four feet under water tonight from all the flood waters if anyone can help with fostering any of there animals or provide there animals homes they are being temporarily placed at the fond du lac shelter.

O.k., that piggy was meant for him! I can't believe that piggy did that, I was so surprised! The r atties are beautiful, congratulations on them, I hope they live a happy, healthy life! Such adorable babies, really precious!

They're adorable! Just a little advice not to feed them through the bars as hard as it is 🙈 it encourages them to then bite through the bars, as they're then expecting food/treats, and if your daughter were to poke her fingers through the bars they're very likely to bite! Just to let you know in case you didn't 😅

Yeah the way they were snatching I could just see that lil babies finger tip coming off! I made the same mistake with our rats and learned quickly lol I also learned that holding small pieces where they actually have to smell for it and gently take it from you will help curb that snatching behavior. They are all adorable 😍

this makes total sense and I completely agree! but I give my rats treats through the bars but for some odd reason when I poke my finger in there cage they dont go for my finger! maybe its because they can smell the difference or they are just really good boys??

Look at them. Stuck in cages. While I’m out living in the sewers of New York able to watch every new broadway show for free.

For future reference When quarantining rats you need to do it in separate air space as most diseases are airborne. I learned the hard way. Always good to have a 'hospital's cage on hand. One that can be set in a completely different room.

Saw that you replied to a comment about litter training and thought I would give some tips! My boys were happy to go in their litter pan from the get go, but their was still a decent amount of poo’s and wee’s in places they shouldn’t be, and what helped the most for me was giving them more litter pans! Which might seem obvious but wasn’t something I thought of, and especially litter pans in high spots, as they love to go high! With wees what I liked to do as well was roll their litter in the pee spots and then put them back in the tray! By no means are my boys perfectly litter trained, but they’re doing so well! Good luck with it!

Aww so cute! I have 4 ratties. 🐀💕 They're the best. You can actually litter tray them. I have a small cat litter box with blank shredded paper and they go there.

This warms my heart knowing there’s people out there that love rats just as much as I do my two boys just recently died And seeing this just made me so happy

They are beautiful! I love your videos, you always bring us on your pet adventures I'm so excited for more rat videos there are two enough on here.your youngest is getting so big and she is adorable, she was being so gentil with those Kitty's it was so sweet to see. The most rats iv had at once was 4 and it was only for 2 months as the oldest and youngest passed a week away from eachother but the more ratty babies the more fun they are and watching them cuddle is the best. That guniea pig also looked very well socialized he/she was all over your boyfriend so cute, they looked like they both liked eachother lol. Have a great day!

Her cage is a Critter Nation if anyone is wondering. You can google them and buy them off of multiple websites. If you don’t have more than 5-6 rats, the single story works just fine, although, if you can afford it, always buy the biggest size Critter Nation. I only have two little ratties and they love their double Critter Nation.

Your rats look super cute! I just got my first hamster (well as an adult) she’s a baby Syrian she’s totally black except her feet and a white stripe on her belly. I named her Bella ❤️ your videos are one of the ones I watched before deciding to get a hammy and the reason I was able to know what she needed ❤️ I’m waiting on her new cage in the mail and I think she will be very happy.

One thing is when you do quarantine on new rats you should be in a totally different room so the air isnt greatly connected, but your cage is awesome!

I have a rescued newborn baby rat, and he came by himself. I've read everywhere that they are social little guys, so should I try to find a friend for moose? He really loves me I think, but I don't want him to be sad. Would you recommend I get him a friend? I was thinking about rescuing a feeder rat, but I'm not sure, since I'm new to rescuing these guys. Moose is doing wonderful, well hydrated and eating like a champ. He just opened his eyes yesterday and he's busy exploring his apartment complex 😁 any suggestions would be appreciated, have a good day!

Your rats are soooo precious! For the new babies, it may be beneficial to give them some kind of a cardboard box up there on the top level - space pods are great, but they're more open, so for new, scared rats, they might not offer the security the rattos prefer. A cardboard box of some sort would let them hide a bit better. Just a thought!

i agree! that might help them feel safer. i got my girls at 4 months and even then they loved to hide. even a tissue box would do the trick!
