The more tractors the more complacent you can be with maintenance, we had a Massey 690 and treat it like a baby everything topped up and checked once she was put in the barn for the night. Working on really steep ground and with cattle in three different places was a nightmare if we couldn't get the tractor to work.

Nice clutch drop and slip coming out tbe gateway there

If you put a strap underneath the 4 wheeler then lift the tracor hidrolics you then got traction from the trailer to help the tractor grip better. 👍

Great vid Tom sometimes you think that the ground looks OK but then s##t happens when we've have a summer like this year you just have to get on with it thanks for taking the time to make your videos cheers Antony

Yeah we have the same problem we get rid of a load of slurry with the tanker then you blink again and it’s almost full already haha!

Adam Grayston I know the feeling and with it being so wet at the moment we can't get on the fields. It's going to be a long winter

Have to get a bit of box steel and weld it on to the drawbar just put a plate on the bottom of the box steel too and jobs a gooden, cracking video fair play

Farming can be tough at times Tom, but you got through it. Hope you get something from those heavy bales. On the bright side, you didn't crash the drone lol. Just a tip, not all will approve. Pulling the boats out it was slippery. Roy uncoupled the trailer and put a chain onto the top hitch point. Didn't like it, could have gone over backwards. So I hooked the chain around the lift arms and under the trailer drawbar. Don't go too mad but it worked.

That's gd then tom yea are shop is ok trade is very up and down we have just started hedge cutting which is keeping busy fingers crossed the weather holds

Try doing this on peat fields on the moors around where I live in Somerset sinking in the ground is pretty much a occupational hazard then

Tom Pemberton Farm Life we got a brand new 2016 Xm.k 90 and has been ok but no where near the level as our stery, the hydrolics are unpredictable when being used a lot in cases such as bale carting and it’s not the greatest looking thing ever, if your anywhere near us again you can find me through my Facebook page the Herdy man

Great video Tom. Love it what tractor did u do the drone shots of that was smoking like a chimney. Your farm yard looks a little crowded. Does the front axel on those trailors pivot, cause I can't back those up lol. Do you think you could do a drone shot and tour of your farm yard? Thanks Kory, it's dads case 885. It's abit strong on the fuel hahah. It would be better if we had a bigger yard but are tractors aren't to big it's not to bad. Yeah I will do kory maybe in winter ❄️

Darren Ryan they weren't great but you have to work with what you have got. I would love to get a new trailer but we only use them for 4/5 times a year. So If we have to load them up a little less and do more trips it's not the end of the work tbh 😀

Swayz Depending on how many acres you do, we would be around £12-15 I think. Could be slightly more

Must be some heavy bales, we put at least 20 silage bales normally on a dual axle converted lorry trailer and the tractor barely notices.

my dad never really gets mad at me over those little things like getting stuck. no use in sweating the little things machinerys repairable but life is not!
