Papa, one heck of a score!!!! See if that John Deer can be salvageable for a resale!!!! 2yrs and 8 months from now, I'll be doing what you are doing. Oh, I'm a third generation and the lass glasshouse worker, Owens-Illinois glass containers like my grand daddy and my pa. I might go back where they came from, West Virginia, I live in the state of once called California now Sodomfornia. By that said, it is fitting! Land of the fruits and nuts, of course I'm the nut, lol!

I think you might find that you can't possess any railroad steel. Not even spikes for tracks. I hope im wrong . In Ohio its frowned upon.

It was given to me from an engineer and an engineer mechanic, and my yard knows I don’t steal anything so they know it’s not stolen

It doesn't matter the source. Railroad steel is forbidden by Federal law. You cannot even possess railroad steel without the written permission of the railroad company. Doesn't matter if the guy is/was an engineer, it is illegal for him to possess it without written permission of the railroad.
