That Chinese quad has a safety kill switch at the back of it so that if the child is riding and they fall off it shuts off check that

I went through the same thing on a quad. You need to disable the alarm system, or get that battery for the remote!

Really simple way to really test,on the cdi box,cut the black wire with a white stripe on it and try it,if it sparks somewhere the kill wire is grounding,if it doesn't spark check the orange wire coming out of your cdi box,check if it's going to the coil and if it's connected properly

Stater plate goes on them a lot as well, I’ve had to change a couple in the past, but yeah your right normally the cdi or coil or stater plate

I have same quad for my son had it as a non runner works get now problem i had was the plug cap took it off cut back the rusty wire part new cap and boom job done i have the same battery in remote and ive never seen one before 😂 good content tho bro keep up the good work 👍

Since you are ordering a new cdi you should crack it open and see if it has any visible damage.It can't hurt any you never know.

You could use a capacitor as an alternative to a CDI box

Remove the kill switch in the rear, those tend to fail. I've had multiple quads and pitbikes with a broken kill switch.

you can test a cdi kind of 1 you put a capacitor across the pick up see if you get any charge if you do then pickup is prob ok now do the same for the cdi capacitor across coil terminals if voltage rises cdi ok check kill switch wire is not grounded if they is no spark

egr valves draws in air into the exhuast to help burn any unburnt fuel

The battery for that remote looks like # a23 can get at most auto parts stores Best Buy , Walmart's

It probably is the cdi they are common for it cause they quit whenever they want but if that doesn't work then it could be the coil

Try the battery when you hit the kill switch on my Chinese ATV it's just silent it won't start the alarm doesn't trip or nothing then you hit unlock and it will work you will get Spark I would try that first the cheapest way to go

I’m fixing the same one for my neighbor, it’s a TaoTao 110 engine

I have the same exact one I’m fixing rn lol.

I have Chinese dirt bike and it has no spark were can I by parts

Go get it tested first and then if it’s broken take it to a parts store and they might have an alternative

My friend had a Chinese quad, EVERYTHING just broke down and it all fell apart. It's crazy how many issues that thing had. Get a name brand, you can get a late 1990's quad or early 2000's for cheap, they are built way better back then.

A lot of times this is security system will fail just unplug the main thing from the harness and you may have spark I ran across the bad security system a lot of times

got told to come pick up a 1000cc today becasue her kids grew out of it lol
