(Picking 109) My homemade manual pick guns

I made two homemade manual pick guns - it's a lot of fun ... check out lockmania's video 138 to see how to make them: • (138) how i made my ho...
Be warned that they only work on low-security locks, and they are nowhere near as good an an automatic pick gun.

I like seeing homebrew tools, great stuff 👍 When I was learnjng to use a Pick gun, I marked the needle on my Pick gun with a dot of whiteout correction fluid to show the needle insertion depth for a standard Lockwood C4 5 pin lock

Thank you! :D :D I'm not a "handyman" and a lot of this is new to me ... lots of fun and I want to do more. :D People like you amaze me with your homebrew skills. Thanks for the whiteout tip! I tried my pick-gun on a lockwood and it didn't seem to work. :D

@@Swynndla I'm a Software developer. Using hand tools to make Lock Picks was completely new to me when I started (around 3 years ago). Once you get started making your own Locksport tools it opens up a whole new area of fun and frustration 😁

What are those plastic white adapters called and what are they used for? I used JB weld to glue the needle on but no luck with that,it broke off right away.

@@sci-fisworld4646 ahhh they are those wire connectors that you put in two wires and screw down the screw to make a connection. I means the needles can be replaced if you want ... but yea still not *that* strong (and I could glue them in I guess).

Make one using a mouse trap to snap. Like, extend the trip lever (that part that is connected to cheese) long enough to rest on pins, and let spring loaded part strike it. Would work great, hard part is making it one handed. I have had this on my mind, but I have been in and out hospital.
