I've never thought of cubism as having multiple viewpoints, but that makes sense! I've always considered it an object made more geometric and block-like without regard for how that would happen. I'd say this is one of the most attractive pieces I've seen by Picasso.

Hello, I'm a french student, Do you know where the title of Picasso's work "Still Life with a Caned Chair" in french "Nature morte avec chaise cannée" comes from ? - Still life obviously refers to the genre of still life : the genre of figurative painting of everyday objects. Still life is a genre representative of painters of the United Provinces of the North from the Dutch Golden Age to the 17th century; by the Spanish painter Juan Sanchez Cotan or in the 18th century by the French painter Siméon Chardin. Still Life generally aims at a plausible illusion of reality; the painting like a window open to the visible. But here Picasso adopts an anti-illusionist approach by highlighting the flatness and materiality of the painting. - And chair caned to the chair in the painting... whose seat is formed of small strips of rattan canes, cut and braided into a square or diamond formed by the chain, tram and crossing threads. But there is very probably a deeper reading of this title, and I ask for your help because I have an work to complete, and I really don't know what to think about it. I thank you in advance for your help. Best Regards :)

I do not know the answer to your question.
Conceptual disassembly, isn't this a form of deconstruction?

In some senses yes. However, while deconstruction, which became something of a buzzword from the late 1970s, certainly looked back to cubism, many years separated these efforts and they are understood is distinct.
