Piazza Trucking's Goldhofer STZ-P 9 Trailer Being Retracted For Transport - Truckin' For Kids 2024

Here we have Piazza Trucking's John Dequattro with his new Peterbilt 367 and German Goldhofer STZ-P 9, 9-axle 36-tire trailer. John is seen retracting the trailer from its 90-foot maximum deck length to its minimum 54-foot deck length. Then, he is seen pinning 6 of the axles to raise them so that the empty trailer will travel on only the 3 rear axles. Notice as the trailer takes the turns how the wheel bogies steer opposite the turn to reduce trailer turning radius. This was at the Truckin' For Kids Truck Show in Irwindale, California on April 28th, 2024. Please 👍. Thank you, enjoy.

Scotty, those trailers are a cross between a Spyder & a Centipede! Turn at any angle, and stretch, & snake over bumps / dips, without changing height, of the load! Outstanding! 🦿🦾👍👍👍🇺🇸
