Suite Bergamasque by Claude Debussy
‪@nadjadornikchannel‬ performs the prelude of Debussy's Suite Bergamasque and Professor Jean-François Heisser talks about the composer's interest in early music, which is reflected in the work. Also, being a work of youth, he expects more enthusiasm and joviality from the interpreter. That is also why they work on the Rubato and the modification of the rhythms to make it sound freer. Professor Heisser attaches great importance to the basses and their clarity, so they work on the articulation of some of them and on playing with the fingers closer to the keys.
