I sadly disagree. From a performance point of view, this is brilliantly executed. But the remix fails to capture the nuance and tempo of each “season”, which is an integral part of this work.

My favorite two things about this video. 1. My violin professor rocking this remix. 2. The smile on the pianist's face. Love to see musicians loving their music.

Absolutely this, they were the rockstars of their era and every single one of them borrowed from those who came before, and played with new and bold sounds. To think they would be anything less that enthusiastic about these reimaginings is absurd. They would LOVE this!

They were having so much fun! The violinist was absolutely killing it; she's totally into the music. His performance on piano rocked the house. They're the fantastic duo!

I would definitely like to see more duets with that violinist!

I honestly couldn't believe the audience didn't leap to their feet at the conclusion! I had chills up and down my arms at several points -0it was unbelievably great (and I am not a fan of classical music by any stretch of the imagination). WOW JUST WOW.

The only thing better than hearing a masterfully performed epic piece, is to watch one being performed by a musician who genuinely loves what he's doing.

Excellent! I think if Vivaldi and Chopin were alive today, they would probably do the same with their music. After all, Chopin was considered radical in his time and Vivaldi's four seasons is a favorite no matter what. I think these performances do for classical music what Hooked on Classic did in the 70's--get people interested in listening to classical music. There is so much passion and beauty in it even if you dubstep it or spice it up like this--you can't take away the beauty in the melodies and the runs. My fingers twitch just listening to it.

I'm going to use this for a great contemporary ballet dance piece ... this is AMAZING

I found this on by accident after Moonlight Sonata remix. The joy on your face makes my heart happy. Genius arrangement and masterful execution.

Vivaldi would be blown away! I'm 73 and it made me start to cry because it is so creative!

Growing up with two Profesional musicians as parents one a pianist and another a singer and dancer I find this so fascinating. The breadth of talent and to be frank the f ING bad ass talent and fun I am so happy.

I love how the audience waits for the last note until they clap.. the atmosphere is great!

I love this fusion stuff. I really wish it would be possible to get these baroque composers into our time and see what they come up with being locked in a room with a sampler and a sequencer.

The best part of this is Lionel’s smile throughout the piece

Hard to believe the talent these two both displayed. I'm in awe.

Love the Four Seasons, and this version is an incredible invention for newer audiences. Most excellent.

I love Vivaldi but this was exceptional and beyond words. Love not knowing what to expect. I give. This performance a standing ovation! I enjoyed seeing the performer enjoying himself. What a delight!!!!!

I use to remix classic music with rock back in the 90's. I never thought it would become popular someday. Now we have concerns mixing them. I use to have a piano and I sold it awhile ago. I miss playing. I can play violin too and flute. My mom was a music lover so I was raised around singing. I took vocal lessons for years. My mom let me choose what I wanted to do, I chose vocals because I already knew how to play other musical instruments. Piano will always be my favorite. ❤️

I know that you'll be too young to remember when Vanessa Mae released Toccata and Fugue in 1995. But I got the same shiver and feeling that I was listening to something truly special as I did back then. Long may you continue to have fun with classical, in the dark days it's the artists that keep the light shining. ❤️

I have no idea about classical music, or even any music for that matter, but man this gets you in the feels. The mix between classical and dubstep beats behind, what a combo

Vivaldi is one of my favorites, Ji-Hae Park introduced me to this, and whenever I see one I HAVE to listen to it.

I love watching somebody who absolutely and thoroughly ENJOYS what they are doing. I make me feel happy.

In one of the prestigious places to play his craft. He is like I am going to have fun and launch a missile at the heart of what is considered classical music.

This and your Mozart sonata actually brought tears to my eyes... masterful...brilliant... BRAVO!

I love seeing you smile while you play because it just shows that you are passionate about what you do! Sometimes I smile when I’m coding or doing math (probably not relatable LOL) 😂

So inspired by this. This is what young people want today--Master the fantastic tradition. But make it their own by injecting their spirit there. Wonderful! That's what art of each generation has been doing and should continue to do.

Turning an amazing 1 hour piece into a 4 minute drone of sound is epic only in the sense that it's a travesty. I will say though the violinist was on point and she's very in tune with how it should sound. The pianist, I feel, is just [poorly] attempting to follow a recipe.

I don't know why, but however you play, whatever instrument you use, The 4 Seasons always sounds good.

Just now seeing/hearing this. A couple of weeks ago, a friend (unfamiliar with Four Seasons--how?) really didn't like classical. I tried explaining it was like Rock back, way back, in the day. Should have presented this. Outstanding.

Vivaldi would find it charming. Beethoven, not so much. He briskly exited the theatre after hearing only 90 seconds of his Moonlight Sonata. He's locked himself in his flat for 3 weeks now...

Believe me, the pianist isn't relaxing at all XD They have to use two hands individually to perform what's often two separated complex score ideas, simultaneously, all while the feet hit the pedals, which is the reason they *need* to be sitting. Also: Violinists can sit too, you know. She's choosing not to. It probably has something to do with focus and even comfort, as violinists don't have to worry about their elbow hitting any obstructing surfaces behind them if they are standing up.

One of the best renditions I have ever heard.

That's my favorite part of good remixes/arrangements/covers - pulling out the bits that people don't pay attention to!! Love this
