This was the very first thing I've ever seen from this guy, just came up randomly in the old recommendations... Utterly blown away. For the first minute or so you're wondering "I wonder if he'll do the lyric?" then about a minute after that it's "I hope it stays instrumental!" Absolutely amazing way to spend 17 minutes of your life watching this. Amazing talent. Don't watch live streams so much these days but for sure subscribed to this channel from this day forth. Gangsta's Paradise is an amazing song on it's own and I've heard so many great covers of it in just about every genre, but I think yours is the most impressive of them all. I had no idea you could shred GUITAR on the PIANO!! And the banjo fit in surprisingly well! I can't imagine how many hours you've dedicated to honing your craft, but I know I'm gonna be dedicating many hours to listening to it. You are incredibly talented and I can't wait to hear more of your masterpieces. Keep it up!

Pretty well put together. I used to do loads of looping when guitar delay pedals became available, nothing like today's kit, but a great way to lose yourself in the music.

FYI Frank, learned piano in my early teen years until my teacher had to move away and I sadly didn't look for a new teacher. I'm now 33 and have been doing lessons again for the past 6 months or so, 100% inspired by you mate. Loooong way to go before I get to your level, but I can at least proudly say I can finally play my favourite piece of music - Liberi Fatali Reborn (Final Fantasy 8) - with at least decent proficiency. I've watched your vids for years and my understanding is that you're not a Final Fantasy fan, but if you're ever looking for a fun but also challenging piece to learn (challenging because it's very progressive in a classical sense, as opposed to typical pop songs), I think myself and all the other FF fans would be honoured to hear your rendition of Liberi Fatali.
