The people questioned it because they were told to question it by the judges. It was manufactured drama to get more exposure for the show. There was never any actual drama other than what Boy manufactured because Sam didn't pick him as coach. It's a show about using your voice. Sam is using his voice to do a far greater percentage of the total production that anyone else. It wasn't even kinda of a drama.

Although I agree Boi George is always creating unnecessary drama, you can't just use the loop machine, most people who use them have technically good voices, and really Gospel sounding voices. So yer it's not cheating, it's not even enhancing your voice, your just creating the song you want with it. The voice love it when people can make a song sound different to its original.

The last one is so fun, all the judges are just playing and trying out the looper, its adorable!

If I was a judge and I started hearing a loop station I’d instantly turn around, it’s a huge part of the immersion watching them work

The thing I love about watching this is no matter what country it’s from music is transcendent. Music is the one thing that will bring world peace. Look at the First World War the American army and the German army quit fighting to sing Christmas songs with each other. World peace is possible.

Sam Perry is already a star. The Russian guy who performs "Beggin" is fantastic and has impressive vocal chops. And the last guy is delightful.

French judges understood that he use looper on the second sound. But Portuguese judge says that they are 1 maybe 2 or 3 maybe 4 to sing rofl 😂

All of them are very talented, I hope they all go places and become big stars, I could watch all of them do a whole show, or stream their albums. 2 different takes on Gangstas Paradise, and both turned out different and impressive.

Sam Perry and MB14 are right there for me-I love MB’s rendition of the song more than Sam’s but Sam gave a beautiful tribute to Prince so they’re neck in neck for me! All the performers honestly deserve all their success!

I especially love that the last artist is outsinging the professionals.

Sam Perry has my heart- he’s got amazing talent and is a fabulous performer- total passion and joy you can’t help feeling happy.

Featherstone is a PURE vocalist. Best of the bunch, even if the "looping" was simple. The best arrangement hands down.

She is singer/songwriter, before even getting on the voice she already was known artist. And what she won here? She was knocked out at 1/4 I think. Sam Perry was really the best mix of both categories, he wasn't the best singer or maybe the best looper, but putting both his qualities in one, he was the best. Knowing how one jugde always was agaist him and always was crying on media that Sam is cheating. :D

She delivered on the higher notes, but she didn't sound safe in her middle range- it's normally the opposite so she's quite unique, but it's a huge problem if you can't deliver in your middle range. That's where you're gonna be most of the time.

Some of those ladies had some very mature voices. Absolutely loved most of these performances.

MB14 is literally popping up everywhere on KZread since he got the golden buzzer on BGT!! He also recently performed this same version of gangstas paradise on BGT semi finals

I've seen MB14's audition a bunch of times (he's been in a few compilations), but the rest are new and interesting. They're all amazing in their own way. They really know how to use the electronics as an instrument.

The French really are good with loop station, I'm not saying others are bad but just look at MB14 and Saro.

in terms of looping alone he isn't because he used presets for his loops and mb14 didn't. Also i think they were overreacting a little bit on sam's clip.
