Students passed out previas years remains hear as jobless how many hospitals should be there to accomodate this huge number 3)Job opertunities abroad also reducing substatialy each year, physiotherapist who migrated to US UK Caneda Australia works in supermarket Hotels petrol pumb etc.Many gulf countries now appoints employes who are natives of that country 4)Many hospitals now converting their physiotherapy department to Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR)HOD will be physiatrist (MBBS DPMR )role of a physiotherapist in this department is just a helper 5)"Physiotherapists are called as doctors "" these are only just canvasing words of agents during admision. In practical sence none of the hospitals, gov bodies allove this 6)there are somany unautherised practices (quakery)still remains in this field This also reduces job opertunities current enforcement of law is not satisfactory to stop this practice 7)Now a days new threat also there... Bvok physiotherapy that is common in normal arts collage only 3 years, course. Hospitals appoint these people with less salary

Ok...BPT graduates are also eligible for courses like hospital administration, business management, public health management & various other postgraduate programs. The normal pay package for a Physiotherapist working in a hospital starts with a minimum Rs. 5-6 lakhs per annum

using the prefix Dr. infront of the name of a bachelor of physiotherapy is to confuse the layman public and exploit. you may call yourself physiotherapist not a physician. if it is the given rights to prescribe medicine is considered to be as a doctor, then a pharmacist is also can be called doctor. ofcourse if you hold a Phd then you can be called doctorate and add Dr prefix. BPT can be called physiotherapist and not doctor

No we cant perform surgery being a physiotherapist. But yes we have a vital role in surgery.preoperative and postoperative PT care for every patients is essential. We have a subjects like general surgery and neuro surgery in our syllabus so that we can have good knowledge about procedure, indications,contraindications and complications

Yes. As a physiotherapist you are involved in post surgery cases, so you will be taught the use of the stethoscope in physiology and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy so that you can assess the patients blood pressure, heart rate, cardiac endurance during an exercise or rehabilitation programme.

First, yes it is (i.e. to learn is the primary objective) which is why internships offer a stipend and not a salary. And as long as an internship covers basic expenses, we always recommend students to go for the one which would offer more learning (even if the stipend is lower) and students often make such choices

Carrer guidence people will vanish after admission and geting commission. Later on sufferer will be the individual. So plezz dont spoil your future

NEET score is not mandatory for BPT admission 2023. Universities and colleges conduct individual entrance exams for BPT admission.

As a art student you are not eligible to apply for physiotherapist course. Aspiring candidate should hold a Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) to become a Physiotherapist. For this course, he should be 10+2 passed or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English
