Any degree or graduation/post-graduation in any subject is alright. For higher education, one should always pursue the subject which one finds interesting and is comfortable with. Academic career and interest should not be compromised for an uncertain and highly competitive career in civil service. If you find physics or chemistry really exciting, please go for that. I always feel a good science student has greater flair and ability to write precise answers in a logical and objective manner. First of all, if you think that you want to be an IAS then I will suggest you to go for Bachelor In Arts. You can take majors Political science or sociology. This subjects help one to crack any government exams like UPSC, SSC CGL and State Public Comission Exams and RRB too. This subjects are very informative and easy to understand.

There is absolutely no problem if you want to do CS right after 12th without doing B.Com. It is a three step program after 12th - Foundation Programme, Executive or the intermediate Programme, and Professional Programme. You can join the foundation program right after clearing the 12th boards. It is an eight months program and you need to clear it within 3 years of your admission in the program. When you pass out the foundation level and your age is not less than 17 years, you can proceed to the intermediate level. This can be done straight away after graduation and this is why many would prefer to join the CS program after B.Com. The next and the final program are more specialized to let you choose from a range of subjects. There are short-term trainings that you need to undergo at the intermediate level and after the final level. Practical training after completing the professional level examination is very essential as it facilitates in getting an Associate Membership of ICSI. You can do this training in companies that are sponsored by ICSI (Institute Of Company Secretaries Of India) or under the guidance of a practicing company secretary. The completion of the professional level and the final training will get you admitted into the institute as an Associate Company Secretary, after which you can look for jobs. All the very best!

Both B.com and B.Com in finance and accounting are good courses. Both the programs teach the fundamentals of accounting and finance practices. The basic difference between the two is that --- while B.Com gives an overview of all the subjects, in case B.Com(hons), a student can specialize in a certain subject. For those who wish to make a career in the field of finance and accounting, a B.Com (Hons) in finance and accounting is a more viable option. To pursue both the courses, you must clear Class 12 examinations or equivalent from a recognized board. While both the courses have their own merits, it’s up to you which one to choose.. Both the courses are divided into six semesters. While B-Com covers subjects as taxation, accounting, human Resource, business marketing, management, finance, economics, statistics, etc, B.Com in finance and accounting focuses on the in-depth knowledge of the Finance and Accounting domains.

yes, it is very much possible, but pursuing a BSc/ BCom in Acturial Science is not of much help unless you clear the exams conducted by Institute of Actuaries of India

BCA is a Bachelor’s Degree course which any stream students can pursue (Science, Commerce and Arts) after completing 12th schooling from a recognized Board.SOME LIMITATIONS THAT COMMERCE STREAM STUDENTS MUST TAKE NOTE OF But the main problem is that to get admission in reputed Institutes, one must also have taken part in Entrance examination (State wise and/or All India Level) and scored good marks in it. Now this is not something that most Commerce/Arts stream students do! But the good news is that many other Colleges exist, where Commerce stream students may get direct admission in BCA progam .There are some Colleges, which have a condition that students seeking admission in BCA program must have had Mathematics as a subject during their 12th Standard.
