By far the best tutorial about this crucial subject. Thank You and bravo!
Thank you once again. It was nice to see them all compared. Over time I've certainly forgot more and I would like. And this was a nice "by the way" featured video.
I loved this video and the puppy dog was an added bonus 🤣 made my day. So cute!!!
I'm embarrassed to say how many "selection" videos I've watched. But this time it FINALLY clicked. Wow .... and DUH! And I love your dog.
The best tutorial I have seen in selection tools. I'm using the 22.5.1 release and when I clicked on refine hair button it automatically rendered the hairs with red mask. Thanks for making this video.
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you.
Thanks for letting Koa (Sp?) join your video this morning! 😀 I love all your videos; but Koa makes this one extra special! 😍

Thank you for posting this video. The Channels feature is something I’ve never understood but you somewhat shed light to this topic. The question I have is…is Edit > Fill exactly the same as paint tool?
Excellent video with lots of useful information. Thanks.
Thanks Aaron for another good video 👍
I learned so much from this, thank you!
Sent to Eien in the comments below. It takes time to learn. I downloaded Photoshop CS-3 from 'LimeWire' (Long Gone Now) in 2010 for free as pirate software. 2007 version. My introduction to digital painting was 'MS Paint', part of Windows XP. The Crazy thing is that I barely knew what I was doing with MS Paint. It took me weeks of struggles to finally finish my picture doing it all in mostly Dots. It was the only one I ever did with 'MS Paint'. I went to bed. The work exhausted me and I felt that I never want to go through that again. 90 minutes later, I woke up with an epiphany! "Maybe, I can get up and Download Photoshop'. It worked. I have been paying Monthly for modern Photoshop a long time now, but never really got into it. That's why I'm here. BTW: My 'Best Ever' Painting was the one I did in 'MS Paint'. You posted your comment a Year ago saying you were interested in getting into this. How are you doing today? If you respond, I am sure I can find a way to link that first painting to you. 'Trackpaint44' It makes an excellent Poster and I keep on on my wall. I am really, really, good at painting 'Stereographic 3D' as 3dmacphee or 3dfantasys.
Aaron you should do a video of all your different hair styles over the years ;-) Been following for some time now :) Great vid btw!
I think I will subscribe to PHLearn. Maybe I will have some more questions, as I am really good in finding technical limits in an application. You seem to be the right kind of guy to answer those seemingly unsolvable questions.
Extremely informative video .....contains some very helpful ways of doing things

I don't even have photoshop, but I knew it had great selection tools. I was in the middle of my unrelated work when I suddenly got the urge to learn and see them in action so I came here. This was very satisfying, I'm now considering PS. Thank you 😊

@@davidmacphee3549 Ah, hello Thank you for typing a long comment Getting into Photoshop wasn't my priority back then, and it still isn't. But it is something that's always there. I'm good at learning things by tinkering with them, that's how I got good at my art apps on phone and a bunch of software on PC. So I'm not worried about PS. Since last year, I've learned a bunch of more things about it even though I only opened it like 4 times. The thing is, every time I do open it I want something and I won't close it until I have made it exactly how I want. I do a lot of looking around in the software and also searching the web in order to do that. So I learn new things little by little and it grows into almost having mastered the apps. Admittedly, Photoshop looks like it's gonna take a long time. Regardless, there's no rush for me. If I ever need to learn it faster, I will. No problem. So, about that first painting of yours. I'm looking forward to seeing it! 3D paintings are interesting and have a certain cool look to them, so I'm excited. If you let me, I might even print it and install it on my own wall too. Haha. Thank you in advance ✢
