Greetings, Kon, from Beaverton, Oregon. Always great to hear your conversational approach and to have a podcast dedicated to Nikon. Might be fun to have Becky and you guest on the Petapixel podcast someday? You have the humorous chops for it.

During the Chat you inquired as to "How much improvement is needed in autofocus?" I think that's an interesting question and while I'll take improvements with my Z8 and Z9, I find that they are marvelous compared to my prior Nikon cameras (D3100, D5100, D7100, D750, D850, Z6ii and Z7ii). I recently was invited to shoot a national dog breed specialty wherein I shot almost 65,000 frames over 5 days using both cameras regularly (maybe 60% Z9 and 40% Z8), primarily movement shots, but lots of stills. It was indoors, so the lighting wasn't great and I used the following Nikon Z lenses: 70-200mm f2.8 S; 24-120mm f4 S; 105mm f2.8 S Macro; and 180-600mm f5.6-6.3. Using Manual Mode, Large Area animal eye-focus, shutter speed usually between 1/400th and 1/500th sec., and ISO's between 1000 and 5000. My burst mode was set to 15fps but often using just one shot when my finger moved quick enought to limit the burst, I found my hit rate was above 95% (my estimate). I have zero complaints about the autofocus. I originally traded my two D750's for the Z9 because I wanted higher fps. After a similar shoot with the Z9 and Z7ii I traded the Z7ii for a Z8 because I loved the blackout-free EVF and the higher fps experience from the Z9 that was also available with the Z8. Is it perfect? Not much in this world is perfect, but I love the new generation of Nikon's autofocus for my use-case.

Hello from Sacramento, California. I try to catch the live stream as it happens, but getting up that early reminds me too much of my life before retirement.😊

Watching on "catch-up" from Northamptonshire. I love these Nikon chats. So glad I bought the Zf instead of waiting for the Z6III.

I connected to the cloud straight away and linked it to my Adobe account. Raw pics took about 3-5 mins to appear in Lightroom Classic under Nikon Imaging Cloud section. I can see it working where I am in a venue with wifi and want backups being sent off camera or for editing. I could not get the Z6iii to see my iPhone wifi and work with it that way though. PS from London, UK

Put Expeed 7 in the Becky cut-out. The AI might make her less shy.

Greetings from southeast Ohio (USA)! I am curious what will happen with the Z7 line, will there be a Z7 III…and will they (hopefully) keep the tilt screen or maybe add the screen from z8? I do hope they keep that line focused more on the lighter hi res photography focused body. I really enjoy my z7 II and really am not wanting too much other than to just keep that style of camera alive in the line up. I like the slightly smaller body than the z8, it really is perfect for hiking and traveling light.

Would you mind sharing the origin of the coffee that has a taste of cherries? I have begun exploring single-origin myself and would love to try it! Thanks! ☕

Kenya range of single origin coffee is fantastic. AA or AB is generally a good choice for fruity coffee (hints of strawberry and cherry flavours). Just have it black without any milk.

Tried imaging cloud and I can see a great potential there. Could be a little more user friendly, all worked though. Wi-Fi and phone hotspot.

OK, you review cameras, lenses, etc., and for the most part you talk about the same characteristics among the various full-frame mirrorless. Full frame mirrorless cameras are no longer new. What you do need to start addressing is something that full-frame mirrorless camera manufacturers should stop ignoring - the need for built-in GPS for non-top-of-the-line mirrorless cameras, as well as top-of-the-line cameras (OK, the Z9 has built-in GPS). Currently with most such cameras, for people travelling to multiple locations all the time, they have to go through some convoluted process to attach their iphone or whatever to their camera to get the GPS coordinates. In this day and age, that is ridiculous. You need to advocate for built-in GPS. Failing that, there should at least be an easy attachment to a camera shoe to provide for GPS
