What a legend. Watched this many years ago (can’t believe it is 10!), loved it then and boy do I still. I have had my own XP-1 for several years now and will never let it go. You rock Z.
High or not, Zack is a brilliant photogrpaher. Every video he was in or every picture he shot is just fantastic. I love his work and the inspiration he gives to all others out there.
Still great watching 10 years later!
10 years on and I’m still dreaming of an X-Pro! 😍👍
I recently bought the XF35 1.4 from the guy I borrowed it from back in 2016. I never forgot how it rendered. Now after numerous XF lens trials, from when I got my first Fujifilm camera in 2014, I finally settled for X-Pro3 and that exact lens. What a journey and I'm so happy now with this essential original setup. All the noise suddenly fade away. I had to watch this video again. Thank you.
I was in India in 1971 for several months. Someone loaned me their Nikon and an 80-200 for one roll of film. Got some awesome shots. That place is so alive. This video really impressed me, I'm looking to go small as well. Dang, why can't Leica give us a camera like that for under 5G? They keep teasing us. I do love my Full frame but those snaps were awesome, esp. the low light ones, beautiful would have loved to see some BW too. Great work my friend. cheers....
We learn so much from Zack Arias in the street...Thanks alot for all your lessons.
Props to the videographer as well. Love some of the brief timelapse-y sequences towards the end of the video.
the model is Gabriella Demetriades
It's wonderful to see Zach having a real experience making photographs. Screw the trolls. This is a man really in the midst of his passion for photography. You wish you were so lucky. The man has worked hard to get where he has and it obvious he's enjoying the fruit of it. Kudos, sir. Keep it up.
These images has a certain soul and feel to them, that is different than typical DSLR shots. I can feel the moment. Well done Zack! I really love your work and the way you approach gear and photography.
Beautiful video and Zack does amazing work. Can't go wrong with it!
Fantastic Zack. To be full present to the experience and not worry about gear. Just beautiful, I use my Xpro 1, it’s as beautiful magic box just like you said.
Love Zack's work, and this movie was beautiful shot. You really get a sense of being in Mumbai.
What a fantastic video. Thank you for taking the time to make this and share with us. I am going to India for the second time at the end of the year and can't wait to take my Fuji X100s with me, I don't plan to take anything else with me.
Awsome! I also took my Fujis to India and Thailand and USA and so on ... Loved it! Thank you!
just loved this video, both the place and the artist
Absolutely fabulous video. Love this. 👍
Fun video, thanks for the stroll down memory lane. Mumbai is its own amazing world!
Always a pleasure to see Zack getting drunk as hell at the end. All time classics
The exotic location of Mumbay and the experience of the photographer contribute to an absolutely gorgeous reportage!
welcome to India, Zack, of course you were overwhelmed. Mumbai is a kicker for visitors. I wonder how your India would look like on photography.
Gorgeous and inspiring video. Really liked Zack´s photography
Zack you are the best. Hope to meet you one day...... You have taught us a lot. Your shooting style is great.
Wow that Model Is amazing!
Absolutely engaging video, and brilliant rationale for why the X-Pro1 fit the bill for you! Thank you for sharing!!
Awesome Jack...thanks for this little gem
Namasté...cheers...nicely done to all the people involved. Thank you Zack and Fuji.
...I became absolutely and totally drunk...because the city was great, the models were great, the fujis was great, the shots were great... Zack, I love you and I love the X-Series Cameras. Keep up, man!
Nice colors. That model is drop dead gorgeous.
beautifully filmed and photographed; very touching at the end.
Great learning experience, thanks, Zach.
Loved this video!
Dear Zack, it is a great camera, but it is not the camera, it is you who did this great job. The best stove cannot make a good meal, it is the cook. So I have to admit you did a GREAT job. Wonderful photos. A big compliment from the Netherlands. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely love the background music.
I've shot with a lot of systems and the Fuji X is my go to for environmental portraiture - skin tones are awesome.
Considering this is 10 years old, it’s amazing. Plus I just bought an X-Pro1 10 years late and about to have some back to basics fun

Man I'm really looking forward to backpacking this place
Love this, well done. Just picked up an X-Pro1 w/ 35mm f1.4 today to (hopefully) replace my X100T, but that is a tall order so we shall see. If anyone's made that move, reply and let me know what you thought? I'm a little worried about the focus speed, but until I have both cameras in hand it'll be hard to know. ALSO Fujifilm, if you read this, the image stabilization you used on the video was a little distracting at times. There were at least a couple instances I felt it would have been better shaky than looking like jello. Food for thought. Love you guys. =]

Hi, am at the point of getting one myself (fell upon it while researching on the Leica m's...which are out of my grasp for the moment) but the numerous comparisons to the M9 made me take a closer look at the Fuji X-Pro1; actually happily surprised by this handy little street-camera and as I've been reading up on it quite a bit it seems that fuji is working hard on those focus issues via the firmware. You've now had yours for a while, how does it hold up? would greatly appreciate your feedback!

great video!
very nice photos!
Thank you! That was an amazing trip! I was honestly thinking of getting into the fuji cameras because the canon stuff is a real burden! Please tell me, would a DSLR allowed you to work faster? I hated my leica's in the 80's because they were slow, compared to SLR's with motor drives and match needle metering.
You are extremely talented!
Nice Camera and also nice editing ....
Complimenti bellissimo reportage
fantastic!
Great and inspiring movie!
Hi, thank you for very nice and inspiring video!
Fabulous light, fantastic people, amazing camera. What more would you want? I sold all my heavy camera gear and purchased the black X100. I could have purchased the XP1 no sweat, but the X100 is equally as awesome and is a steal.
Thx, very, very inspiring !
I respect ZA. And I remember the Cheap Camera Challenge (where he did magic) and after that, give him "any" camera and he'll do more than magic. So.... you get the point.
lol.. looks like Zack had a few beers before the interview . lol.. rock on Zack !
Good photography with X Pro 1
Great model, noto so great photographer
thanks zack
Man... drop-dead-gorgeous model !!! Awww... !
I second that.. totally! DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!
nice photos!
very nice video Zack. I was wondering if you can share what types of lighting settings you were using as I didn't see any flash with you in most pictures, but can see at the end that you had external lights. Thanks
you made me want the camera even more
The models face Is astonishing!!!
Congratulations to Zack for his work, but could You say what gear was this movie shot on? That's some nice work as well!.
Best things are at the beginning and at the end: the guy who's shirt says: "Sorry, girls, I only date models" - lol and Zacks tired (or drunken) staring view - both are great :-)
Zack - you are looking better wit this haircut and trimmed beard - nice to see more of your face :) - great work - I wonder what your take is on the Olympus OMD ? vs the Fuji vs NEX7
Thanks for sharing :) What was video taken with?
I have the X100, and it's the camera I would have chosen in such a place - even in my own city here in Sydney. I have several DSLRs, but find these days that I automatically pick up my X series camera, almost by default. I've held the XPro1 and was surprised at its light weight. If Fuji bring out a 23 mm (35 mm equiv) lens for this guy then I'll buy the Pro1; and they should, because I doubt now that such a lens would affect their X100 sales. The price differences are still significant.
whoa..wow model
You're right.
Has Zack had a little sippy sip at the end of the video? Salute!
what camera and settings were used to shoot this video Zack !!
With which camera was the report filmed? Where there much adjustments made in postproduction? Thank you.
worlds best portrait camera - check those skin tones
At 2.29 that guys is eyeing up your clothes for a wash and scrub..........Now thats dedication.
oh yeah
have the videos and stills both shot with the x-pro1?
