Make sure your phone has usb3 or it will not work.

You are right. It is not very effective for charging when compared to the original power adapter for the laptop. But it helps as a backup charger when needed.

You're welcome. I can still find them in Kmart near me in Perth. Hope you can get them online. I am using HDMI to monitor and it works fine for display and audio via monitor built-in speakers. Unfortunately, I am unable to test USB to monitor, so unable to confirm this.

Sound comes from the TV when using HDMI cable.

I am currently using a 2nd monitor which has built-in speakers. Connected via HDMI from this hub. Yes, audio is being played through the monitor. Works fine without any issue.

Laptop does not have to be charged with USB-C to use this adapter. I use my laptop and tablet with their own charging bricks AND use this adapter without any problem.

It is not a capture card. It is a hub that allows you to extend a USB-C port on your device into 3 ports (USB-C, HDMI, USB-A).

I bought this and it was working fine, now it's just charging it, but the hdmi just wont work or sometimes it will then it wont... and than when it does work if I accident bump it it'll stop working. My hdmi cord is brand new just got it. So idk what's going on now

The USB connection works just like how it is on a computer. I have connected hard disk, flash drive, microphone and headphone. If the screen drawing tablet uses USB connection, it should work via this adapter hub. However, this has to be tested and verified.
