I actually think OnePlus recovered a bit from their terrible decisions in 2021, they 11, 11R, 12 and 12R seem to be good products.. but this only applies to the hardware sadly because the software is so bad since OOS 12 (personal opinion)

​@@E.after.D.I.am.T.H To be fair there's nothing special about most phones. If you want a name brand phone with a lot of extra software features at a bit of a price premium, you got Samsung phones. If you want a lot of specs for little money, you got Chinese brands. If you want the cleanest Android with great camera processing and reasonable specs, you got Pixel. But really the difference from one rounded rectangle to the next isn't that huge anyway. Nothing offers a fairly bloat free android skin, reasonable value, and cool branding that stands out from the crowd, and that's honestly not a bad place to position yourself on the market. "Cool value". One major downside is that Nothing has not yet jumped aboard the long software support trend. Only 3 years of updates from release isn't really amazing if you're not one to change phones like socks.

I wish other smartphone manufacturers would let their biggest fans be involved in the making of a phone, that would be awesome and provide an additional layer or trust to the consumer.

Absolutely love the way this phone looks, The color, the design, the overall feel. Love that you got a kid who loves your phone and gave him a tour and let him ask questions. Such a great video.

Cameras have been shifted in the centre., very nice, that too in Android version 14. I am a proud owner of Nothing Phone 1. My heartiest congratulations and best success for the Phone 2a.

Kudos to Carl and th3 team for emphasised more on the vision and features which other brands don't really care about it. I love every touch of nothings features and ideas from unboxing till set up the phone that I had not feel this in other brands.

Looks awesome :) Big fan. Love the nothing phone mainly because of the design. I just wish the spiral behind ran all the way to the round camera hub instead of being cut out at the line point. Also if this design was selected by the designers would have loved the top part after the line the camera hub to be of a differnet color - black on white phone, white on the black phone. That way the round camera hub and where it sits on line differentiates from the bottom part.

This is the first time I even heard of you guys and Jesus, this is top notch marketing. In my opinion maybe even the best in the industry . It's modern, it's personal and just fun to watch. It's content you want to engage with and in return, it makes you want to engage with the product.

I'd love for them to lose this LES gimmick and give a dot matrix led screen behind just like the asus rog. Provides enough information and also looks cool.

Detailing was so good! You put lot of thought into it. Which none does in current times. But the glyph interface is now more constrained to 3

i might buy one white just for the sake of the design. it's fresh and feels a bit retro in a way i really like. the symmetry and harmony is working out pretty good for this one. i'm not a fan of glyphs in previous models, but this one looks clean. the accent colours and tones of white and grey is something i really appreciate in this design.

I think adding colour to one of the glyf, will be lot more cool. Because I loved the old phones which had notification indicator with small colour light at the front. It makes alot easy to identify the notifications.

I really hope for them to add the quick slider.(its really useful)

Bought the phone 2, it's a great device, but the video algorithm doesn't work with Adobe Premiere, and you can't use an external microphone with it. I have to use GCam, which is disappointing.

Looks beautiful... Finally going to get the first nothing phone for my secondary one, hope with the experience I'll be able to shift my main phone to the nothing flagship by next year!

I really like the slight milkiness of the glass and that is wraps around the edges a little. All in all, a very nice design. Well done!

Love this phone. I’m thinking of how to add colours and I think the phone itself should be for example light blue and glass still be translucent and it would give a really nice effect and the aluminium could have a splash of colour too. Really good company and so much to play around with

The back of the phone has the same shape as the river in our capital city, Prague. Maybe you could do some nice cover for that.

Hello india's one of the fan here!! buying this on the launch time after 7 years of using oppo phone. taking a big lead to go to Nothing as Indians are mainly addicted to samsung and iphone. Hopefully I will love it.

I hope it's actually durable with the whole plastic back. And interesting choice putting the chip and the camera so close to each other.

It will be running on Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14, an octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Pro (4nm) (2x2.8 GHz Cortex-A715 & 6x2.0 Cortex-A510), and Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. Not too bad. Data from GSMArena.
