My first run I used the crossbow, as I had forgotten about the manual detonation. I was losing my nuggets at how impossible it was.

You can get more from Aurantia (the secret area at the top-left of the map). There will be a couple Arboars roaming the stages, and one on the first screen with enemies. I believe the Arboar meat is a guaranteed drop from a kill.

How did you open the two notes door in 1:21 dude? I play the green and yellow notes but the doors doesn't open.

I believe the time stamp for this is incorrect. If you remember the area/timestamp, I can help. Because you mentioned notes (the flute), I don't think you meant the temple doors, but I also checked 12:11 and 1:21:00. For 1:21:00 (secret cave), you need the upgraded flute (blue icon) you get at the very end of the game. The regular flute (yellow icon) will not be able to activate these doors. You will also need the upgraded flute to kill the laser totems.

Nice bro, your guide is awesome. I am collecting all of the game using your guide. Will try the speedrun and no heart in a single run now. I think this one will be very difficult.

@@ELE4LEGAM3R The speedrun isn't too bad once you know the game and just rush, but the no upgrades definitely makes it a problem. I would suggest gathering as much nectears for honey drops as you can, since they will restore a bit of your energy. Save often and use the spear as much as you can. If you cheat the final boss like I did, it becomes much easier.

EDIT: you do need to be done the Atai questline for Lisa first. If the old man is not giving the quest, you may not be far enough into the story. For the vault you can start at 1:10:00. You first need fava beans from the street vendor. Skip then to 1:12:30 and follow me do the quest. First talk to old man (maybe Mikhail, but I don't remember all the names) by going through the big center door to enter the palace, then the 2nd door (which is lit up). He will be the old man with a cane and ask you to help him with the mayor. Then exit through the right and enter into the dark doorway, go all the way right, then talk to the chef about the safe. At that point you can interact with the bird to solve the puzzle. If you want to know the solutions legitimately, then you talk to Rufus, who is the advisor to the mayor at the central hall, one of the women in the dining area before the chef's screen, and a guard at the top of the palace.

i actually never been able to get the energy gem from the daea shooting gallery! not enough rounds for me. i can get up to 33000 or so. but i cant get anymore. which weapon is best??? i keep using the cross bow \double shot cross bow, cause it feels more natural., and will attempt the triple shot slingshot later.

2:11:29 This gallery is horrific to do with the crossbow. You have to already have a bunch of stamina and perfect aim. The best way to do it is with the spear, upgraded with the spear-bomb technique (trade in 2 scrolls to the Ourobouros chief). The explosion will hit multiple targets at once, and can be detonated without hitting anything with the alt use of the tool.

Another cheese tip if anyone stumbles upon this later: After getting the Boots, with the right timing, you can throw a spear at the other end of the shooting range, glide over, and score your free point on the last part. Saved me a few hundren RIN and some braincells.

It's mostly timing. Skill, fortunately, or unfortunately, has little to do here. The second one is the worst one, and you can see me fail it twice in this version. I probably had to do this at least 10 times to get the rhythm, and another 5 is perfect it. I cut those out. As soon as you trigger the laser, run and jump over to the second platform, then just keep jumping and moving to the right. You literally just keep jumping as soon as you hit the ground, and usually if you jump over the first one, you'll make it across. The third is much easier because it is a pattern. Duck, tap jump, hold jump a little, full-hold jump.

Did you spray the perfume in the room to remove the bugs? There will be a cutscene for it. Did you take the horse instead? You can only take one of them. If you took the horse, you can exchange it for the camel.

@@gienio123 To get the perfume, you need to first capture the turtle in the cave at the North of Panselo (starting area). You will see two caves at the top of the area; go into the left one, then fish for the shiny turtle. Take the turtle to the GEO Base in the Daea region, where there is an aquarium in the basement; trade the turtle for the ring. Make sure you also have a chocolate. Go to the Ravine (the path you originally took to get from Atai to Daea), and on the 3rd screen from the start, you will see a couple on the boat. Give chocolate, then the ring, and he will give perfume. Then go to the first wall, talk to the ladies, and the cutscene will happen when you use the perfume.
