It's mostly timing. Skill, fortunately, or unfortunately, has little to do here. The second one is the worst one, and you can see me fail it twice in this version. I probably had to do this at least 10 times to get the rhythm, and another 5 is perfect it. I cut those out. As soon as you trigger the laser, run and jump over to the second platform, then just keep jumping and moving to the right. You literally just keep jumping as soon as you hit the ground, and usually if you jump over the first one, you'll make it across. The third is much easier because it is a pattern. Duck, tap jump, hold jump a little, full-hold jump.
On the second part, it's actually possible to glide between the top and bottom lasers. If you manage to find the exact pixels.
i actually never been able to get the energy gem from the daea shooting gallery! not enough rounds for me. i can get up to 33000 or so. but i cant get anymore. which weapon is best??? i keep using the cross bow \double shot cross bow, cause it feels more natural., and will attempt the triple shot slingshot later.
2:11:29 This gallery is horrific to do with the crossbow. You have to already have a bunch of stamina and perfect aim. The best way to do it is with the spear, upgraded with the spear-bomb technique (trade in 2 scrolls to the Ourobouros chief). The explosion will hit multiple targets at once, and can be detonated without hitting anything with the alt use of the tool.

Another cheese tip if anyone stumbles upon this later: After getting the Boots, with the right timing, you can throw a spear at the other end of the shooting range, glide over, and score your free point on the last part. Saved me a few hundren RIN and some braincells.
I got a total of 99p and still have a b rank! What is going on!?
Your rank is actually based off of your average score. If you get 20p through the game, then 100 at the final stage, your average would be around 23p. That would be my guess why the rank is different from the score. If, however, you are playing the first stage and get 99 with a B, something is busted with the game and you may want to delete and reinstall it to potentially fix anything wrong in the code.
I can’t exactly tell what’s different, but it’s still great!
Around 2:20 I change the loop to repeat the breakdown a couple times before restarting the song. Not much different in this remix, but I think the simple change adds a good bit to the song. Caves of Mul and Phalanx had some actual changes to the pitch and songs rather than a simple extension.

You can get more from Aurantia (the secret area at the top-left of the map). There will be a couple Arboars roaming the stages, and one on the first screen with enemies. I believe the Arboar meat is a guaranteed drop from a kill.

This is on the collection. Maybe they did some update or change for the text. I am unsure if there is a significant difference; I didn't think they were too different, but it's also been 10 years since I played them on Gameboy.

Why i can t get stuffen camel
Did you spray the perfume in the room to remove the bugs? There will be a cutscene for it. Did you take the horse instead? You can only take one of them. If you took the horse, you can exchange it for the camel.

@@gienio123 To get the perfume, you need to first capture the turtle in the cave at the North of Panselo (starting area). You will see two caves at the top of the area; go into the left one, then fish for the shiny turtle. Take the turtle to the GEO Base in the Daea region, where there is an aquarium in the basement; trade the turtle for the ring. Make sure you also have a chocolate. Go to the Ravine (the path you originally took to get from Atai to Daea), and on the 3rd screen from the start, you will see a couple on the boat. Give chocolate, then the ring, and he will give perfume. Then go to the first wall, talk to the ladies, and the cutscene will happen when you use the perfume.

0:30 you can actually cheese this and many other parts using the bomb (by stacking 2 bombs, standing on top of them and jumping at the right moment). don't know if you've figured this out by now but you should definitively try it out!
I hadn't realized it til later, but 2 bombs, sprint jumps, and hover boots will all give a little extra height. A few moonstones can also be skipped if you use the spear bomb to push it from behind.

The transform ability is his default special attack (triangle). With his base form (no super weapon), press triangle to shoot a purple orb. If you kill a compatible enemy with the purple shots, it will then drop a capsule which will then replace the purple shot as a special attack. See this part of the video for example. 1:05:22

@@reactionforall584 In fairness to you, the game never actually tells you how to use this. When I first played the game as a kid, I did the same thing and was confused how to get into some of the secret areas.

What's funny about the reactions is that I actually like this game on normal and hard, but playing on one-hit death really highlights the problems with the game.
Shoutouts to this guide for reminding me that you can manually detonate Spear Bomb!!! I was STRUGGLING with the final Daea shooting gallery level!
My first run I used the crossbow, as I had forgotten about the manual detonation. I was losing my nuggets at how impossible it was.

The game was trying to protect us from ourselves. It tried to crash the computers so hard to stop us.
Couldn't find these while doing the goldens, now I did all the C side goldens and I find it again. Yay

The common thing I see with all of these videos is that you all avoid getting hit by the rainbow lasers. Which is exactly my problem right now. >_<
Don't feel bad about struggling. This fight is a beast. I think it took me about 15 tries to get this video done. The rainbow lasers are something you have to learn, because you can't just react to them. The startup is slow and won't harm you, and once you go around once, the lasers will reverse. The second time with the lasers is worse because the platforms are hard to reach.

Foolish zombies failed to realize that Leon's secret agent power comes from the briefcase. Also, I like that some zombies can wield chainsaws and operate machinery, and others just stare at the wall and mutter "die, die, die".

I use OBS to record the software. I primarily use my Playstation, so I also need an Elgato/ Capture Card. You will need something that captures the video from the Console and sends it to the computer. If you are playing on the computer, you do not need an Elgato or Capture Card. This is on the Zero/Zx Collection. You can do the same thing for emulators if that is what you are trying to do.
How do you transform into different enemies with axl again?
You have to kill the enemy with Axl's secondary attack (in base form) it should be triangle. It only works for specific enemies as well.

I love horror movies and games, but rarely ever get spooked. They are very much predictable, and hardly manage to ever actually do anything "horrifying". This managed to raise my heartbeat by .025 bpm.

There is the Pen Light, which is used for making the Blade Arm, and the Shining Laser, which is a special weapon. Can you tell me which of the two you are looking for, if you know? The Pen Light is within the Cardon Forest ruins, but the shining laser has a whole sidequest with it.
8:00 i get that hes an "engineer" but those three pieces just FIT together and make that weapon. holy... --probably shooting out the legs first will work better -- very Resident evil4 in the knock down and stomp
Very convenient that in all of this chaos, those pieces never got displaced or ruined. Also, this never shows up again, so they should have just had the gun there. I had thought that the devs were part of Resident Evil originally, but my short search came up with nothing, so I guess it's just heavily inspired by RE4.
It would be pretty cool to go back do the other ending, having Alex go down the hole instead of Brad gets you a final showdown with Olson
I could probably convince Nick to go through it again, but the issue is that the games are long, and large chunk of the major scenes are the same. If we could skip the same scenes, I would be much more inclined to get the different paths.
@@IpseImperator You can skip scenes, there is a scene selection. Just re-select the scene where everyone is walking to the radio so you can change who goes down the hole

I wish I could have finished it. I was about 1.5 hours away, but I was out of time. Such a great game and experience, especially for long-time fans. The Blades are an incredible reveal.

This feels exactly how I felt during my 7A golden runs. Could never get past 1500m, but the moment I did, I fluked the entire fucking level. Hope you get that luck too! <3
It doesn't help that I'm trying to speedrun so you guys don't have to see me stare at the screen in terror. I will eventually do the B sides, including 6, but Farewell is a Sisyphean Task that I know will never happen.

EDIT: you do need to be done the Atai questline for Lisa first. If the old man is not giving the quest, you may not be far enough into the story. For the vault you can start at 1:10:00. You first need fava beans from the street vendor. Skip then to 1:12:30 and follow me do the quest. First talk to old man (maybe Mikhail, but I don't remember all the names) by going through the big center door to enter the palace, then the 2nd door (which is lit up). He will be the old man with a cane and ask you to help him with the mayor. Then exit through the right and enter into the dark doorway, go all the way right, then talk to the chef about the safe. At that point you can interact with the bird to solve the puzzle. If you want to know the solutions legitimately, then you talk to Rufus, who is the advisor to the mayor at the central hall, one of the women in the dining area before the chef's screen, and a guard at the top of the palace.
