For everyone saying it was flares. Look up the whole event that happened that night. There were TWO events. The military dropped flares AFTER the first event. (Wonder why 🙄🙄). I don’t usually depend on Wikipedia but they got it correct. The lights started being seen as far south as Mexico as it moved up thru Arizona. Both events used to be on KZread back in like 2007 or so ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ The Phoenix Lights (sometimes called the "Lights Over Phoenix") were a series of widely sighted unidentified flying objects observed in the skies over the southwestern states of Arizona and Nevada, and the Mexican state of Sonora Lights of varying descriptions were seen by thousands of people between 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm MST, in a space of about 300 miles (480 km), from the Nevada line, through Phoenix, to the edge of Tucson. There were two distinct events involved in the incident: a triangular formation of lights seen to pass over the state, and a series of stationary lights seen in the Phoenix area. The United States Air Force identified the second group of lights as flares dropped by A-10 Warthog aircraft that were on training exercises at the Barry Goldwater Range in southwest Arizona. Witnesses claim to have observed a huge carpenter's square-shaped UFO, containing five spherical lights or possibly light-emitting engines. Fife Symington,[3] the governor of Arizona at the time, years later said he witnessed this incident, describing the object as being "otherworldly." Initial reports Edit At about 6:55pm PST (7:55pm MST), a man reported seeing a V-shaped object above Henderson, Nevada. At approximately 20:17 MST, callers began reporting the object was definitely solid because it blocked out much of the starry sky as it passed over.[9] Devon Lorenz and his aunt, Jamie Lorenz, were standing outside on his porch in Prescott Valley when they noticed a cluster of lights to the west-northwest of their position. The lights formed a triangular pattern, but all of them appeared to be red, except the light at the nose of the object, which was distinctly white. The object, or objects, which had been observed for approximately two to three minutes with binoculars, then passed directly over the observers, were seen to "bank to the right", and then disappeared in the night sky to the southeast of Prescott Valley. The altitude could not be determined but the object was fairly low and made no sound whatsoever.[10] The National UFO Reporting Center received the following report from the Prescott area: "We observed five yellow-white lights in a "V" formation moving slowly from the northwest, across the sky to the northeast, then turn almost due south and continue until out of sight. The point of the "V" was in the direction of movement. The first three lights were in a fairly tight "V" while two of the lights were further back along the lines of the "V"'s legs. During the NW-NE transit one of the trailing lights moved up and joined the three and then dropped back to the trailing position. I estimated the three light "V" to cover about 0.5 degrees of sky and the whole group of five lights to cover about 1 degree of sky.”[11] First sighting from Phoenix Edit Tim Ley and his wife Bobbi, his son Hal and his grandson Damien Turnidge first saw the lights when they were above Prescott Valley, about 65 miles (100 km) away from them. Over the next ten or so minutes, the lights appeared to come closer, the distance between the lights increased, and they took on the shape of an upside-down V. Eventually, when the lights appeared to be a couple of miles away, the witnesses could make out a shape that looked like a 60-degree carpenter's square, with the five lights set into it, with one at the front and two on each side. Soon, the object with the embedded lights appeared to be coming right down the street where they lived, about 100 to 150 feet (30 to 45 meters) above them, traveling so slowly that it appeared to hover and was silent. The object then seemed to pass over their heads and went through a V opening in the peaks of the mountain range towards Squaw Peak Mountain and toward the direction of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. In 1990, when I was still living in Roselle, New Jersey, I saw several black, triangle-shaped aircrafts in the nighttime sky.-They were exactly like one type that people witnessed in Phoenix.-It had a light in each of it's pointed corners, and was moving slowly.-It didn't make any kind of noise at all and was eerily silent, too.-It looked like an extraterrestrial spacecraft. 🛸 👽

I as a young boy witnessed one in Illinois while sleeping outside one night, it was very close to the ground, and I could see the silhouette of the black triangular object with lights, moving very slowly it was very large. I told my father, him being an Airforce pilot. He dismissed it as a dream. The object was identical to many in photos.

the interesting thing about the UFO phenomenon, is that after the usage of atomic bomb weaponry in WWII, UFO sightings spiked. which means, the aliens either are here in significant numbers (which is what the 'experts' all think), or they can travel faster than the speed of light - which is what i conclude. my being the superior 'expert', i will conclude, they managed to travel here quickly, and so far it's been mostly denial and obfuscation by the USAF, since. that's how trustworthy government is.

In the mid 90s there was two major sightings. One of them got famous, the Arizona sighting. The other was never mentioned or talked about. Orange County Santa Ana I was 8 years old playing tag with about 20 kids, you know the days kids didn’t have the technology we have now ,we all played outside. Anywho we were about to start the game and some kid says (what’s that) we all look up ⬆️ and man this thing what’s like 40 stories high very very low and it was huge it almost cover a good portion of the sky. It was a huge saucer that can be seen very clear. I always said if there was a picture or video of this it would b the most famous number 1 video in the world of a ufo. I remember when it was passing over us it made a whoosh woosh sound and u can feel a electrical feeling through your body. All the kids started crying and we all at the same time ran as fast as we can running and crying home. The best part of this is something nobody ever believes me and this happened a few years before the movie men in black. I swear to god this happened but the next morning we kids were all outside talking about what we saw and this guy dressed in a black suit walks up to us and asked if we saw anything strange last night.he spent time writing everything down we said and when he wrote it all and was done he looks at us and told us not to worry because what we saw was a weather balloon then he left. BULLSHIt WE ALL KNOW WHAT WE SAW. By the way we lived 3 miles away from the Angels stadium and we were used to seeing the good year blimp flying around us all the time. The government lies to us and it was no f*ckn weather balloon.

In 2002 Myself and a traffic jam made of people in their vehicles, just about bumper to bumper, 2 lanes, facing the extraordinarily huge, steel gray, aircraft high above the highway, but low enough to see its underside had lights. It was early evening, still light outside. As I looked at all the cars in front of me, in front and in the far right lane, a man actually opened his driver door, holding onto it he stepped out with one foot and stood half in the car still looking right up at it. Then got back in his car quickly. I looked back up, it was there, no sound at all, just there, silent no movement, then it was gone! Engines started up, I started mine, everyone just started driving forward. Nuts enough that I thought only days after, why didn't anyone person stopped there in their car, even try and discuss what we were all looking at? Me included? Fear I suppose.

( whom I had left 15 mins prior to getting on I-4 ) I said something like "Hey Garnie, I don't want you to think I'm crazy, but I have to tell you what I'm here looking at... I think she said she believed me, as I was describing, and looking at it, and the cars near me, gone! it wasn't there anymore, gone. I can't explain why, but it somehow felt like a very private experience simultaneously.

Living in Tucson. 3:35 a.m. The morning after. Just got new glasses and would wake up early for work. I had some coffee and would watch Hale B Comet. Very clear. I then see 1 orb(light) speeding across the sky. Then another crosses it's path. Boom another one. I saw three flying across the sky. Wow. Maybe fighter jets(many in Tucson) except I didn't hear anything no jet sounds in the deep of night. Very quiet. Had no idea about Phoenix lights until later that day. Still freaks me out.

I live in Arizona and I see strange objects with odd lights in the dark skies. When I call authorities they say that’s just the Air Force practicing. It’s 11:30 pm , 1:23 am and 3:20 and no one in the Air Force does flyovers in my area, never have, never will.

I could see if I lived on the south side of Chicago and Midway Airport had planes flying over my house constantly like it doesn’t my cousins house. This is not Nevada through the mountains there. I live in Arizona in Scottsdale, it’s not happening where my lot.

My mom was 9 years old and right before that happened or was seen my moms grandpa died and she was so sad and sat on top of her roof and saw those lights

I have seen this back in 2011 around midnight and ever since then I kept looking at the Internet what was that thing I saw and I found this after so many years, I'm from the Philippines and I saw this thing in Manila

This craft is still in operation. Witnessed it right over my house off near 19th Ave in 2019 and even just last year while I was driving nights locally (West on 101). It had red lights and was in the shape of a "V". BOTH times I witnessed this craft was only during a specific moon phase; New moon.

I was 17 when it went directly over my head in cochise county. The weird part is that i forgot about it until maybe 10 years later.

I grew up in East Mesa. I was 7 when the Phoenix lights came. My parents stopped on the 60 next to superstition mall. We got out of the car and watched it for about an hour. I've seen lights in Payson near Tonto creek, in Alpine on the black river and I've seen them fly over Mount Lemon in Tucson when I was walking into the peppersauce caves. Arizona is one of those places where as soon as you get out of Phoenix, the entire sky is clear and you can see anything.

It was so interesting that a lot of people in Arizona saw this and that it happened in Arizona not Nevada. Their are 3 military bases in Arizona near Phoenix. But keep in mind folks Phoenix is a popular town.

Over the next ten or so minutes, the lights appeared to come closer, the distance between the lights increased, and they took on the shape of an upside-down V. Eventually, when the lights appeared to be a couple of miles away, the witnesses could make out a shape that looked like a 60-degree carpenter's square, with the five lights set into it, with one at the front and two on each side. Soon, the object with the embedded lights appeared to be coming right down the street where they lived, about 100 to 150 feet (30 to 45 meters) above them, traveling so slowly that it appeared to hover and was silent. The object then seemed to pass over their heads and went through a V opening in the peaks of the mountain range towards Squaw Peak Mountain and toward the direction of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Guys please hear me out😩... I think it was about 1 months ago when my uncle saw this similar object in the night sky and now I witnessed it myself Sunday night.I literally go through all mysterious light sightings in the internet and this is the only one that suits... I've read some comments and yeah its pretty similar but I don't know if its a bit different. A triangle shape formation of dim lights and the object's kinda like blend in the night sky, and yes a size of boing 747 that kind of like glide or hovering in the sky... except it seems to appear 2-3 secs and then disappear and camouflaged with night sky and was as high or higher than a plane's cruising altitude

WOW!!! I still remember. I was doing time at F.C.I Phoenix. It was a 3 men cell and I was on the top bunk already asleep as I worked in the kitchen at 4a.m. When all of a sudden my cellmate that had the middle bunk started banging the bottom of my bunk hard and yelling to look outside the window. I woke up mad but he kept yelling to look outside in the sky. I hesitated and took my time to look but when I did I saw nothing. He said he had seen something really really big fly by. He kept talking about it and that it was just so big. In the morning I guess a lot more prisoners had seen it also officers. The prison in the dessert. Till this day I wished I had looked rt away before it flew over us. I personally think it's military top secret but who knows.

Witnessed them in person across from ASU stadium coming from Chandler. Stood on the side of the interstate with a few folks and still cannot rationalize it.

Even though it lasted exactly as long as the specs on a LUU2B A10 flare and was in a perfect flight path?

I saw it too 20 years ago it was one dot then it divided to 5 dots in the sky like a one line then suddenly two dots vanished the other three took this shape ^ then vanished in the sky it was really phenomenal experience

My son and I seen the phoenix lights from the east end of the san tan mtns in queen creek .we seen a massive craft flying very low to the ground without making any sound the craft was huge

Flat (ish) and triangular, or cylindrical?

We were living in Prescott Valley on hill when we saw this amazing sight. It was my second sighting which took place in Arizona I saw six lights in a triangle form outside my window just about 10 feet from my window.

I noticed a very large, sharply pointed, deep black triangle with evenly spaced small white lights on each side some years ago. It hovered noiselessly in the night sky, for a minute or so, then suddenly sped away toward the west with no sound. I reported sighting to MUFON, got no response. Sighting was over Garden Grove, CA.

So my sister saw a ufo. She was just chillin and then when she look at the sky, she saw the ufo moving like crazy. It's her first time seeing such a thing. She kinda panicked when she saw it but she took a video of it. She showed it to me and it looks weird. It moves fast and it's very far so the way it moves must be real fast. She also searched ufo on twitter and she found something familiar. The guy who posted the same thing but picture says it's definitely ufo. My brother also saw a ufo but it's long ago like few years ago. So if ur wondering what my sister saw is a ufo but it shaped like a triangle with lights on it. I think she said it was blue and something like orange or red. While my brother saw a ufo but its a circle one. And the color is green. It sounds weird for me but I don't believe they're lying especially my sister. She never told me any stories that way like she was freaked out. For me this is chilling and interesting because of the fact that such thing exist. Now I know that we aren't alone in this big galaxy.

UFOs tend to be a red/orange color, I seen one but it wasn’t moving too crazy, it was just moving back and forth for hoursss, the first time I saw it , it was blue,purple, white, like changing colors . And the second time I saw it it was orange

Saw the same thing in central NY around the same time. It's on videotape as well. Have to get it on here. We were also told that they were flares from a military base, but said base was located about 100 miles away in the wrong direction...

I've decided it had to be a US gov't craft. 1. It was very quiet, and it just happens to look like a Stealth Bomber; with the center taken out of the design, obviously, a possible aircraft design. 2. If it wasn't the USAF, they would have no choice but to take it down, period. ... And I'm unclear on how it ended, but why wouldn't it be easy to follow for miles, hundreds of miles? Because it landed somewhere, an why would there be no sightings of that? Because it landed inside the US airbase. One tucked between mountains where only a hiker could see it. It's the only explanation. ... I've also decided this anchor might be the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on. My god, she is stunning. Peace

Saw it driving into Phoenix from Tucson

I remember seeing these when I was little in Phoenix. Everyone got out of their cars and looked up and was just starring at them.

Similar here in Sydney Australia, in a rectangular length wise , moving over the Sydney international airport, no lie, others witnessed it too

I saw the same object around 2010 in Tampa FL shown at 2.16 minutes

I saw them coming back from the Renaissance Fair. Watched one descend and ascend back in formation. I wouldn't have believed it unless I had seen it.

It's a transporter for a craft that separates and heads to space, the wingspan on these transporters is immense , they need to be to get the main craft to the edge of space, they are not built to go orbiting earth, so obvious where there going, i am studying a similar craft over Saratov Russia , and i am blown away by its size , camouflaged to merge with the night sky. Impressive it's huge.

i saw something very similar to this here in philippines in this month of may. at first i tought it was only cloud because it was behaving like a cloud. it happened at 7:30-8:00pm buy the way. it was just floating vertically. then it changed position slowly to horizontal in about 10 or more seconds. then i saw its lights about 15 lights. then it changed position again to horizontally sideway. then i saw triangular shape of lights. it looks like all the lights are in its front. based on my witnessing, it looks like it just pop up in its place and did not came from above. i am serious. i have it posted in my fb account.

Saw this in the Philippines too, it is too high above the clouds and too big compared to planes which are flying at lower altitude and after a few seconds it disappeared in the clouds. 4 people saw it with me while we were staying on the rooftop.

11-16-23 I saw them in Iowa, and found out few weeks later on Missing 411, that a truck driver went missing. I was driving on 35E North bound about an hour away from where David's rig stopped. I have video from that night but still reviewing the footage to find the lights.

I remember 1997 Miami Florida at the time when it was around 10 o'clock at night channel 7 news broke through showing it on TV every time the Lady point the camera up for some reason it would screw up the picture she showed us the Air Force jets flying around And this guy came out of no where and shut the operation down

I saw the lights I was in ironwood California Didn't know what they were at the time but they looked like perfect round crisp dull lights in the sky in one line V

I'm in Jersey. I live on a hill and have a fantastic view of my city /the sky. Saw a UFO like 6 months ago. Recorded it too.

Like an sum time ago me an my girlfriend was in a back yard in Las Vegas Nevada,an we were arguing about something stupid right but at that moment I was looking deep in the sky straight up were it's the darkest right and I saw a triangle shaped craft and it( f in ) blew my mind because I could tell that it was extremely extremely extremely extremely way the high way way way up there but it almost looked like it was gargantuously huge and I think possibly maybe it might have been that Phoenix Arizona crafts but I just caught a glimpse of it and it was shaped like a triangle and it had six circle lights on it and I saw it and it was crazy and I pointed out to her and it and it was just cruising not very fast not too slow and it was it was absolutely wild

We seen this but it was in 1990 or 91 in south West Virginia
