Her voice is absolutely haunting. Her lyrics- crushing. It’s all so beautiful but at the same time it’s hard to listen to. Reminds me a lot of Elliott Smith. So melodic and incredible tones, but the sorrow can be overwhelming.

This is the first live concert performance I've seen since the pandemic and the overwhelming silence after the first song ends from the total lack of an audience was a complete shock to my system. The normal applause that follows each song is this small thing I totally took for granted and not having it there is so haunting and sad it brought me to tears. I miss going to shows, seeing my friends and sharing in this wonderful communal experience of art we all love. This whole experience is just so weird and awful, but Phoebe's music certainly helps to make it a little bit more palatable. Great set, keep kicking ass, and can't wait to see some of these songs live for real some day when the world is in a better place. Stay safe everyone

punisher sounds like pure magic

Phoebe Bridgers is the perfect night time medicine for the soul. Especially during times where comfort is needed, in my case during insomnia.

Moonlight had me. Those mountains in the background so beautiful with her voice.

I performed 500 shows starting in '79 and performed US/UK until March 11 2000. Discovered Phoebe in '17 with Stranger in the Alps (thanks WFUV!) and saw her at Asbury Lanes in '18. I was inspired. Now I'm back, writing, recording and performing... I don't think this happens without the awakening due to Phoebe, her band and all of her incarnations with other players. Ironically, my next show is March 11 2023, 23 years to the day from my last concert and just 30 miles from where I last saw Bridgers. Phoebe, I don't know if you'll see this, but thank you.

Just discovering this girl's music. I know, shame on me....this is so goddamn good. As an old school metalhead (I'm 47) who's branched out into other realms, this is one of the best things I've heard recently. And I dig the death metal logo on the kick drum, hilarious. Kinda sounds like Phoenix, but even more ethereal and infectious.

Ugh, well that tapped straight into my broken heart and hit salt water. 😭

it made me rly sad to hear her say "welcome to our only stop on tour" ;_; that snapped me out of normalizing how crazy 2020 is for a second there...

some of these songs sound even better live than they did on the album. I can't wait for her to start touring again.

Pretty much. They're BFFs now, as she's said in an interview, no song is complete until she gets Marshall's feedback and/or sees if he'll sing backup as their voices intertwine and mix perfectly with one another. Do I wish they'd get back together again as they are a cute couple? Sure. Will they? Probably not. While Marshall remains one of Phoebe's closest of friends and confidants, it seems unlikely. Not even so much because of Phoebe but rather Marshall. He wound up more hurt in their breakup which he's mentioned isn't something he wants his heart to endure again. As such, they'll remain tight friends who happened to swap body fluids during weeks of hot, passionate shut-in debauchery now almost ten years ago.
