his voice sounds so kind! very clear and concise instruction. i’m considering getting into phlebotomy, and this made the process of taking blood seem very understandable to someone who knows nothing about it! :)

I think I'd be important to mention the needles bevel needs to face up before the stick and while drawing your specimen. Great video!

Question .. How do i get my first needle sticks .. i got certified etc but never stick anyone to draw blood. Do i have to go to the hospital and tell them im applying for internship?? Or we can be in the side of me when i draw my 1st blood from a patient to show me what to do and not do since it will be my first stick??

Never compromise your sterile field by touching top of Tubes, or inmate portions of I.V./Needles/Equipment! If it touches PT's Invasive Spaces; your don't touch it!

poor 🍌 try doing that kinda draw on a toddler..after 10 yrs know someone's gonna get stuck with this technique.

The thought of learning on live patients gives me heart attacks. Mr.Banana is much more consoling.

Fingertips aren't without extra flap ...why on earth a piece of fruit? I don't see how this would help teach.

What about the D.O.B?? That is crucial information that cannot be left out.

BAD tube draw. I love your videos but am a bit surprised you did not mention that the air bubbles could cause an inaccurate lab report. When doing a capillary tube it is important NOT to get bubbles. :)
