    The famous pickpocket train station scene cannot be ignored. It is a ballet of crime and is so seductively beautiful in itself that to be an impeccable part of that smooth machinery of transgression would make one feel more alive.

    Nice analysis. Now that you point at it, the references feel obvious, but is it all your own analysis or did you get some information from Bresson’s interviews or books?
