Philodendron verrucosum care and propagation (with updates)

The philodendron verrucosum is a stunning heart shaped philodendron with a lot of interesting design on the leaves and petiole. It’s got paper-thin, wrinkly, and velvety leaves with beautiful maroon striped back, and a very hairy petiole. This is not a philodendron for beginners however. I share the care tips in this video as well as propagate it for you, showing you a few months update at the end. I also perform some wet stick propagations on nodes with no leaves, so stick around to find out how many of them made it!

I really do appreciate the fact that you include the updates in the same video rather than making us wait like a lot of other KZreadrs.

I love how the new leaves shoot up like a unicorn horn, then bend over and unfurl. Would be great to watch in time lapse.💚

I've found that mixing perlite in with my moss while rooting helps with root rot. It also makes it infinitely easier to remove the moss from the roots when it comes time to pot into soil
