Laser eye surgery is awesome. No more eye infections or difficulty with contact lenses. Also, improved job chances and success with partners.

Lazer eye surgery if it goes wrong which it has for many people isnt reversable, there are so many complications with this. Icl lens implants are safer and a patient will achieve better hd vision and its reversable. Schofield was one of the lucky ones where the surgery was successful although he made need his specs again in the future like many lazer eye surgery patients. Watch lasik and lasek disasters and see how this procedure has ruined lives.

Who cares if there was so some pain, I mean seriously whats a little bit of pain for 15 min in order to see perfectly again. I think its a minor sacrifice.

So this looks like LASIK? I wish they made that a bit clearer. I’m currently wondering about the healing process of lasek

Lasek is a longer healing process and involves wearing special contact lenses while it heals

Really considering this but knowing my luck I will not be suitable or I will lose my eye sight .. :(
I had this done nearly 4 years ago and it ruined my life. I have chronic eye pain. I am more dependant on glasses than before and my vision is appalling even with glasses. I am unable to go outdoors, work or have a normal life. It is a despicable industry that portrays the surgery as trivial when it is neither safe nor effective. Eye surgeons themselves choose glasses over laser eye surgery - so should you.

As Schofield has since reported in July 2020, his vision is blurred, his reading vision 'slipping'... and now in October 2020, he has floaters - but no mention that blended vision laser eye surgery might be responsible for any of these problems! This narcissist claims to be at the cutting edge of new technology, hoping to be the first person in the UK to have a partial vitrectomy to fix this. And if ITV agree to allow priceless national advertising for whichever private company might offer this (just like Dan Reinstein at LVC) by featuring yet another freebie eye operation for Schofield, he might get his wish. Meanwhile, I can assure this self centred man that his eye floaters are nowhere near as bad as those so many of my MBEF clients have 😎

Anyone who is considering LENS REPLACEMENT SURGERY (which is not what Philip is having in this video) I urge you not to. Lens replacement surgery ruins lives. The perception problems which have to do with your brains ability to accept your new lenses are unbearable and not something you are warned about. Glare, haloing, starbursts, ghosting, differentiation problems, inability to see in low light, rainbows. The list goes on. Enough people have committed suiciide after having lens replacement surgery with monsters like Optical Express. Please no more. 💔 I hope this message reaches at least one person.

biggest load of rubbish I've ever heard, everything heals, after 4 years all the atoms in your body will have been replaced and new cells in place of the old, especially with such a low invasive procedure it will completely heal.
@TOMLINBISH

It is YOU that's talking utter rubbish because a cornea that has had a lasik flap cut into it whether by blade or laser will NEVER HEAL back to what it was before !
@ianwaghorne5327

@@RoOo796 it common knowledge the flap never heals. It can be lifted at anytime. The facts are out there just spend five minutes googling it. I know a number of people who have had their flap lifted many years later. How can carving out healthy tissue from your cornea be considered low invasive? The process destroys 80 to 90 per cent of your corneal nerves.

The corneal flap never fully heals ask any expert and yes it can lift at any time.
If anyone is considering getting laser eye surgery, please, please think very carefully. The fact is laser eye surgery is extremely dangerous. I've had it done myself and it has ruined my life. Years on, my vision is the worst it has ever been and I am still in pain. In fact, most people who have told me they have had it done, have also had some kinds of problems, many of them serious and life-changing. If you are still tempted, make sure you seek advice from an independent optometrist or ophthalmologist. Companies carrying out these procedures have little or no scruples, withhold information about the dangers, act in contravention of guidance laid down by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and pay their staff commissions. The industry is unregulated and that is a serious problem.
Eye surgery of any kind can ruin your life. Be careful. If it goes well, you may be happy but not any healthier than you already were. If it goes badly, you could be left with chronic health issues, pain, and mental torture.
No he didn’t have 10 pair glasses she’s lying again
This is disgraceful. No mention of all those whose eyes were ruined by laser surgery.
